Loss of friends
This is a true test of who your real friends are and who is just around because they are. I already notice a different taste in others mouths when I come into work. Some are sweet and others bitter. I think as long as I stay true to myself. Those who love me and are my friends will stay by my side. This may be the first time in my life that I may get to be smaller than my sister and she has never been happier for me. I may also be the first time in my adult life that I am reaching a point where I will be smaller than my mom and she has never seemed so spiteful. I hope all will work out for the best in the end.

4 Month Sleeve-aversary Today!!!
That is so great congratulations!!! I love that you cut your hair. I was going to wait till my one year surgiversery to cut mine so it could be a big transformation makeover, but you might have the right idea. I just wanted to mention a place call brastop.com. I love it, its where I get all my bras. Way to go on Onderland as well.

2 weeks, 3 days out... can I drink yet?
Most will say no way, but I'm three months out and I have had a few drinks on the weekends when I've been at the lake and camping and I feel just fine. I have read here that you get a buzz way faster, but I just didn't feel that was true. I thought it may happen so took it slow, but overall the alcohol experience is much similar to the way it was before surgery. I do miss beer though. I can not stomach anything with carbonation. That I do know is very bad. I know I will probably get heat for sharing this I just wanted to be honest because this was a question I was looking for before I had surgery.

14 WEEKS POST OP!!
That is so fantastic congratulations. I had my surgery on May 3 too. I'm down 47lbs and loving every bit of it. I also have started to notice quite a bit of hairloss recently. Thankfully, on my side as well I had a thick head of hair. I take Biotin. It doesn't stop the hair loss, but it is to increase hair growth. I hope you have a great time on your cruise. WTG!!

Does everyne lose their hair???
I am currently just over 3 months out and now noticing quite a bit of hair loss. It seems to just be every where. I was blessed and have quite a bit of hair so losing some of it might not be a bad thing, but I will keep updated if the loss becomes more than significant. Great Topic!!

3 Month Measurments
Hi VST, I wanted to post for you my three months results post vsg with Dr. Ramos Kelly. This last month showed a 9 lb loss and this month is the same with a 9 lb loss, however this month showed a big turn out in inches. (You can view inches lost for this month now, just scroll down) So my body is changing its shape finally and many are seeing the difference including me. I am being more lenient with my diet, but I try to always stick with my water and protein first. I have yet to drink any soda or type of carbonated beverage and would now consider my self a nonsmoker as I have not smoked since I started my pre-op diet back in late April. Yippee!! Bonus, I am still taking my vitamins everyday which I thought would be difficult as I have never been on the pill popping thing, but I'm still trucking along with it. I will get some blood work done next month so I can compare it to my results before surgery. I will share them with you if you when I get them. I still use vertical sleeve talk.com to ask any questions I have and for support as well as a way for me to share my results with others. I also am still using the weighttracker.info to keep all my personal number data. This is a great site because they give so many ways to keep track of weight, inches, and so much more; plus I love to use the graphs on days I feel down. I try not to ever over do the scale. Some weeks there is a great loss and others there just isn't. Then it starts up again so I try to only weigh once a week on my Tuesdays so that I can add my weight to my charts. You will be able to see below in results, but I have only lost 3 lbs. in two weeks, but currently this week I have already lost 3 lbs. too. It's so weird, but I feel like I am getting a hold of the slows and the quicks on the scale and stick to what I am suppose to do and believe that all things will turn out fine. So no huge changes, but the ship is moving along just fine and from where I was to where I am now it has been amazing. Now to the results. 2 month check in w/ pic
Hi, to all my other May sleevers out there. So everyone should be at or close to their two months surgiversary. Congratualtions!!! I hope everyone is doing well and on the right track to feeling back to normal. I just wanted to post this so everyone could share their own update and also any down falls they have had. We are all new to the process and can share in the new sleeve experience together. I have been keeping a pretty detailed blog, 1 monthly, of my stats including weight loss, sizes, inches and personal notes if anyone is looking for more information. So good news I am 10 weeks out and down 41lbs. Yippee!! Can't wait to see what another two months will bring.I am attaching a pic from back in January at my heaviest of aroun 273lbs. My best friend and I were on our way back from the chili bowl and oh my do I look horrible. I am sure I can show a better pic of me, but this is a full body shot I found which is rare. Plus I dont want to disguise how big I really was. The second pic is just of last week before going out with friends. 40+ lbs. makes a differnce.

Rant - clothing size (pics)
Great post! Just remember everyone loses so differently. Plus I've read how two people can be the same weight and be 6 sizes apart from each other. It is crazy and most often feel it is oddly unfair. You will see the results soon. I hear once out of plus sizes the size change dramatically will just a few pounds. So you could think of this as a positive that you still have clothes to wear for now because soon you won't be able to keep your pants up from what I hear. Good luck and btw you are doing fantastic!!
