Welcome welcome! Glad you found our little web site. We all go through our little struggles and it takes time for many of us getting used to living properly with the band. It's ok to be a bad girl some times lol

Congratulations Amanda! The pain in the shoulder is most likely gas. They pump usually pump your stomach with gas for the lap-band surgery and the gas bubbles get stuck in your shoulders. It hurt me like hell for a few days!! As a smoker I can surely relate lol. I remember having this crazy idea of sneaking out with with my IV and all to the smoking area in the lobby. I made it at the end of the day without one. What helped me recover was walking around as much as I was able. It helps with the gas pains as well.

The Easy band is a next-generation remote controlled gastric band (not currently available in the US) acquired with the acquisition of EndoArt Sa, a Swiss medical technology developer, in early 2007. My surgeon corrected my hiatal hernia while she operated on me and I no longer have any acid reflux. If it wasn't for reading about acid reflux on LBT I'd totally forget that it was a major annoyance in my life before the lap band surgery.
