  1. I was asked to lock the one with 100 pages instead I locked the incorrect one, my apologies.
  2. You need to open the pictures with any photo software on your own computer and resize and then upload.
  3. Can you give me the ID of that smilie please ?
  4. We were mucking around with the site, sorry :cursing:
  5. You can create the poll right here on LBT, I've adjusted the poll settings.
  6. More than you'd imagine. We have a huge amount of people that browse through LBT before they even decide to go ahead with the surgery, let alone choose a surgeon.
  7. Ok, I'm going to change this over the next few days. I appreciate the feedback!!
  8. Your doctor shouldn't be difficult to talk to, that's such a shame!! I'm sure she knows where your port should go. It's different for each patient.
  9. We just upgraded to a new Blog system. You should be able to post pics to Blogs now.
  10. I just had my port replaced and repositioned. When I received my band years ago, there was only one sized port. These days they have what's known as a low profile port. My doctor changed my port to this new model and she also moved the port under my muscle so it no longer protrudes.
  11. Your wish has been granted! Please see: Diabetic Bandsters - Lap Band Talk Forum - The largest forum for Lap Band Surgery Discussion and Lap Band Surgery Support
  12. I'm going to see if this makes sense over the next few days. If we start creating a forum for each topic that interests a group of users we're going to end up with a huge amount of forums. Let's see if any other users are interested......
  13. Sorry but I had to remove it temporarily. I just added it back. Please let me know if you have any issues with it.

  15. Let me know if that works. I know emails are definitely going out.
  16. I was banded over 4 years ago and lost a considerable amount of weight. When I had my lap-band procedure the low profile port wasn't being used and I received the standard port. My port has been sticking out of my belly and was really annoying. I scheduled a port replacement and was supposed to have it today. It was supposed to be a same day procedure. I received a phone call from my doctor Friday that my esophogram showed that I have band slippage!! I always thought I was really lucky that I never had any complications with my band but I guess I can join the club now . My doctor rescheduled my surgery for the 4th and I'll have to stay over night so she can fix the slippage and replace the port. I really hope it never slips again. I've been pretty careful about my diet and I don't understand what I could have done to make the band slip.
  17. New forums created! Thanks for your suggestions

  19. Thanks for the offer!! I think we can manage without donations from our members at the present moment. I'd rather keep the site totally free and have the medical community (who actually profit from our users) pay it forward

  21. NEVER EVER EVER!!! The site costs quite a bit to develop and run. Until now it's all come out of my own pocket. Your info will NEVER be given out to advertisers.
  22. Great idea! Can you work together with members of LBT and put together a complete list of special interest groups (with their descriptions) please ? I'd be more than happy to create a forum for each.
  23. Since you're a mod, you have the ability to select skins. Go into your control panel and you'll see a drop down to use the forum default skin :-)
