This new chat platform is much more stable and easier to communicate with. I'm looking to see how I can integrate the profiles within the chat rooms. Any other requests ?

Just a quick update. We've enabled different chat room software. Please let me know if you like it or not.

Over the last few weeks we've been having some real web site issues. The web site has been down at times or has been slowing down to a crawl. After much investigation we've figured out that most of these issues are being caused by the chat software we've been running. To address these issues we've decided to implement the following: 1) Tomorrow we'll be moving all our web and database servers to a brand new server configuration. This new server configuration is at least 20 times more powerful than what we currently run. 2) We'll re-enable the chat rooms once we're moved over to our new server configuration. If we notice that they're causing issues we'll have no choice but to disable them once again and at that point we'll have to find another chat room solution. I appreciate your patience an understanding with this matter.

Are you still having these issues ? If you are or in the future if this happens again I need you to send me your tracert information. This will show me where exactly the issue is. Assuming that you’re running Windows, you should already have a trace route program installed. If you’re running vista, type the following in the Start -> Start Search field: cmd Once you enter cmd and press enter, a command line window will open. Type tracert lapbandtalk.com and send me the result. If you’re running anything older than vista, perform the following: Start -> Run -> cmd – Then press okay. In the command line window type “tracert lapbandtalk.com” and send me the results.

It was a great, enjoyable and very informative conference. Constructive criticism and positive feedback would be appreciated from everyone that attended. We'd like to thank everyone that has provided suggestions and feedback or reported a bug for the Blog. Almost all of the new features in this version were added specifically because of your requests. We're sure you'll like the improvements. Not every requested feature has been added as we have to balance time versus benefit. Some of the new features in LBT Blog include: Blog Customization - members may customize their blogs in the same manner that they can customize their user profiles. Group Blogs - members may allow other members to post to their blog. Sidebar Blocks - members may create custom blocks to display in their sidebar. These blocks can be rearranged by drag and drop. Custom Pages - members may create custom pages to be displayed in their blog. Tags - tag support has been included. Private Entries - members may set specific entries to be private while leaving their blog open. There are many more new features and enhancements included.

Interesting concept / idea. I'll see what I can do to make this an option you can set.

If any of these sub WLS forums get too busy I plan on moving them off of LBT to their oown dedicated web site. At the moment it doen't seem to get in the way of things and I'm going to let things stay the way they are.

I have the ability to block advertisers. I've gone ahead and blocked the Kimkins and Laurasweightloss. Let me know if there are others like these please.
