Protein Shots 42 Grams of Protein per bottle
I went to wal-mart this weekend and found New Whey Liquid Protein by Body Fortress. It has 42 grams of protein, 180 calories, 2 carbs, its gluten free, sugar free, fat free, and caffein free. It comes in a 3.8 oz bottle. They were 2.50 per bottle or a pack of 6 for $9.99. they had different flavors such as watermelon, grape, and fruit punch. I figure a couple of these bottles after surgery and you would be good on your protein for the day while you're on liquids. i dont know how they taste but I would imagine you could add them to crystal lite and make them taste better. If anyone has tried them let me know how they taste and if they made you feel better right after surger. Thanks.

Drinking Protein
I just bought these Protein Shots from walmart over the weekend. They had 42 grams of protein, 180 calories, 2 gram carbs, no sugar, no gluten, no caffein, fat free. They were $2.50 for a 3.8 oz bottle. They come in strawberry, grape, fruit punch flavor. I have not tried them yet since I have not had surgery but I'm guessing you could put them in some crystal light if they dont taste good. Two of those suckers and you'd be good on your protein for the day.

Please send positive thoughts my way - waiting on approval!!
I'm in the same boat with you girl. I've submitted my info to the insurance and am waiting on approval. If they do deny you, remember you can always appeal but lets be real we dont want to go through that. If you're anything like me I want everything smooth sailing, but that's not reality sometimes. I dont know how long the insurance company take to get back with you but I'm cheering for you and hoping for an approval the first time around!

One Year Sleeversary
You look absolutely beautiful girly. You're beyond inspirational you need to do a commercial. I"m near your starting weight and to accomplish so much in a year is so awesome. I'm so proud of you and I hope I will do as well as you've done in this length of time. One good thing about is you're always ready to give advice and cheer others on as they struggle through their own journey. I love a person who's beautiful on the inside and outside. GO GIRL!!!!!

working on the process to get sleeved
Welcome Kacey. Dont be surprised if you have to do a six month supervised diet which seems like a long time but goes by fast. I wish you the best of luck on your journey. This is one of the best decisions you could ever make for yourself.

I'm glad you and you're wife are doing very well. Keep up the great work and you both keep on rock'n your sleeves!!!

Does it take 2 or 3 weeks to recover?
WOWOW. I wonder if taking iron and vitatmin d will help with the fatigue a little? I am exercising now and trying to stay active, I've heard that does help with recovery. I may be able to get a way with a few half days too.

Insurance require 50 BMI I have 49.9
Well with my bariatric surgeons office, they have a print out they give the insurance company that shows my weight, bmi, and other factors that prints out on this special scale. Dont ask what it is but I had to stand on this scale barefoot and it printed out all this information the scale got from the bottom of my feet. I guess for proof of what my real weight and bmi is.

Insurance require 50 BMI I have 49.9
Of course I could and would love too but I was told the insurance company goes by the weight you were when you first started you diets so I think it may be too late to meet that requirement but I dont know for sure.

Insurance require 50 BMI I have 49.9
Well, in two weeks I'll be finished with my 6 months supervised diet. I had a BMI of 49.9 but my insurance requires 50 to be approved for VSG. I'm so nervous they wont approve me. The surgeons office doesnt think it will be a problem for me to be approved since I'm so close. I have Humana PPO. Has anyone gotten approved and not had the exact BMI required?
