1. WOW girl you have rocked your sleeve for real. I mean there is no comparison with before and after you look like a completely different person. I would have never guessed you were the size you were. You look amazing. Keep up the fantastic work!!!
2. Thank you guys so much. I know it's hard to predict ahead of time but I guess it's probably better to take too much time than not enough. I'm looking at taking 3 weeks.... When taking off for three weeks was it hard to find people to cover you if you have a job that people would have to pitch in, where your co-workers okay with you taking that much time off, where you completely back-up when you went back to work?
3. Hello, I know many people have diffrent recovery times and no one can predict what will work for them. I was orginally thinking two weeks, but now I'm thinking about asking for three weeks because I know I have a low metabolism and stay tired a lot. I've heard many people are wiped out after surgery more than what they thought they would be and because I stay tired before surgery I figured it would be ten times worse after surgery. But I was thinking well I'm 30, so I may be able to bounce back in two weeks if I just get to moving as soon as possible. I'm not sure which would be safer. I would hate to go back to work and not make it through the day. I do have a sit down job so it doesnt require a lot of movement, but sometimes I run up and down stairs to get co-pays from patients but each day is different depending on how many patients we have that day. Any advice?
4. Thank you Girly. It hurts but I know after surgery I will be ready to get back into the game. I can't wait to post the success and how I landed my dream job while working my dream body. Shea
5. Congrats. Where are you having your surgery in KY. I'm having mine done in Lexington. Keep us posted on your journey. Again Congrats.
6. Good luck I will send up a prayer for you!! I know you will do great. Keep us posted.
7. For me it was a couple of things. One being that I love to travel with my kids being a single parent and I just couldnt enjoy our vacations at a heavy weight. It was hard to walk long distances, drive long distances, and ride rides with my children now ages 12 and 5.

My ultimate breaking point was earlier this year when I went for a job interview, a job I really wanted and was well qualified for. I was top two of over a hundred candidates. I thought I could do this, I got this. I was dressed sharp, had all of my answers together and went into the interview with confidence. Well I remember one of the ladies I had a private interview with looked me up and down literally from head to toe the whole interview, even stared at my hands. She had a small office so I'm sure my size was even more magnified. I knew she was saying I dont think this woman can handle the job, she's too big to handle the demands. I'm 30 years old. Well of course I didnt ge the job, but the way this lady treated me in the interview bothered me and made me have an ahha moment with myself. I stopped job hunting for the moment as I finish my masters degree. Once I'm finished with my degree I want to go back out in the job market confident in my abilities and my apperance. I havent had the surgery yet, this month is my last doctor visit for my supervised diet so hopefully I will have my surgery in November. I'm ready, I'm ready for me, my children, and my career!
8. Wishes I wish you the best of luck honey!!!! Please keep us posted. I know you will do fantastic, you have the best attitude
9. All I can say is WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!! Everything was beautiful, elegant, amazing, stunning, just breathtaking. I loved the video, that had me teary eyed. Congrats on your weight loss, you look great in your dress, your skin is flawless. I wanted more. It would be great to post pictures of your honeymoon to Hawaii. Again Congrats on your wedding, and I pray for many years of happiness and bliss!!!!
10. Have you asked her if this was something she might want to try, and maybe you guys could do it together? If she's already upset it is a good possibility that she may not come around until she feels good about herself too. A woman always wants to feel like she's cuter, and sexier than her man. We want to be everything to him and not only is she thinking other women may want you but she doesnt want your eyes to wonder elsewhere either. You can say that you wont and you may not but in her mind she's thinking "he wants to be thin so what is going to keep him from liking thin women too." There is nothing you can do about her insecurities she has to work on them herself but you can suggest things like doing this together and keep reassuring her that she is the only one for you, not just once but all the time with words and actions. We never get tired of hearing that you love us even if you get tired of saying it. If you want this relationship to work you are going to have to help her work through this.
11. I subscribed. You already look great to me girly!! Great video.
12. :Banane27: Wow you got your surgery date quick. I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU. GO GIRL!!!!!
13. That's so sweet. It sounds like you're a daddy's girl which makes all the difference in the world to have his support and for him to see not only your outer changes but the inner changes as well. He seems like he's real proud of you and wants to share your success to the world. Your story made me smile, I wish my dad was still here to see my children, and now weight loss. This is such an amazing time in your life and even if you dont have a family before he passes away (God forbid) at least you know that he got to share in another great moment in your life. Its evident he thinks the world of his little girl and loves you dearly. Not everyone has that kind of love support from parents and for those of us that do, it's a true blessing.
14. You have the perfect baby bump really. For me I gained wait all over especially in my face. You look perfect, arms and all. Still wearing size 4's WOW, that goes to show you, you wont have a hard time getting the weight off once tater-tot joins us. I love seeing your pictures, keeping posting. Congrats on all of your success and for being able to eat all the red velvet cake you want!!
15. CONGRATS WISHES ON YOUR APPROVAL!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. Keep us posted on your surgery date and all the details. I know this was a long time coming, but oh so worth the wait!!!!
16. I agree with everyone else do the six months. At the beginning of the six months I thought oh man it will be cold outside by the time I'm through with the program, but truly I've been so busy that the time has flown by and now I'll be finished with my six months next month. It's really worth it to work on your own personal habits and to take your time. Many people who rush into this due to being anxious find themselves having issues that could have been overcome during their six months. I'm learning to listen to my body, learning my signals when my body is full, I'm learning not to drink with meals which is so hard to do, I'm learning how what exercises I like and how to fit a regimine in my daily schedule. All these things are better figured out now then when I have the surgery because I could easily get frustrated or even depressed having to deal with everything at once. Time really does go fast, and although looking at 6 months from now seems long, it's more beneficial to take your time. Think of it like a marriage, many single women want to be in love and married now, but for a marriage to last you have to take you time get to know the person and learn as much as you can before marriage because rushing into marriage without the dating phase can be tramatic, then you'll find yourself saying "only if I knew this before marriage". Haha I know crazy example, but hopefully you understand the jist. Good luck.
17. You look great girly. You look like a totaly new person. Those jeans look so cute on you. Im sure it has to be fun going shopping and seeing all the cute clothes you can fit in now and rock. Congrats on your sucess!!!!!
18. I love it!!!!! I know you will find another little black dress that will be even more figure forming and sexy. It's a shame though you only wore that dress once, but I'm sure it feels oh so good that it's too big after it was being so smug on the hanger LOL. I can't wait to have that happen to me. Congrats!!
19. Hey guys. Im from Lexington. I have two more doctor visits before my forms are submitted. I'm super excited. Hopefully I can get sleeved this year!!!
20. How about breakfast in bed, and a nice dinner in the yard with a table, candles, flowers, music, wine, and dance under the stars. For women it's the little things that mean so much, and create best memories. Happy Anniversary!
21. Good luck. Keep us posted as soon as you feel up to it.
22. Honey I understand how you feel. I understand how your husband feels as well. His job requiring him to be employeed with them for five years is crazy. When you find another job then maybe you could look into getting it again. Do you have retirement you could borrow from, or even a credit union they have awesome interest rates. In the mean time just keep reaffirming your husband that this is just bump in the road, and not the end of the course. I'm sorry for all that your family is going through but I know that things will come together again. I'm glad that you've remained positive during all of this because that's sometimes the biggest challenge. It seems like your relationship is solid, so this is nothing you two can't get through together and become even stronger in the end. This will be a testimony that you can help someone else in the future who may be going through the same thing. Keep on shining girly!!
23. These are the priceless moments I can't wait to have! Honey I have so many rolls to get rid of I can open my own bakery! I'm ready to put the going out of business on my bakery door :closed_2: ! CONGRATS YOU'RE DOING AWESOME!!! Make sure you take pics of your journey!! :cheer2:
24. You look grrrrrrrrrr8!!!!!! You have the cutest shape. When I look at your before picture I'm just amazed! I am your before picture and all I can do is pray that my results are as good as yours. I think you're a perfect size, and you look very proportionate and healthy. That's what I want. Your skin is beautiful and I see no flab anywhere, you must have good genes honey!! You are really rock'n that sleeve and I can't wait to see more pictures!!!!!!:Banane07:
25. I'm not going to let you have it. Frankly I agree with you. I dont have the sleeve yet, but still I believe in being clean and feminine. To me there's a difference in being overweight and sloppy, and being over weight and clean, confident, and cute. I wouldnt be attracted to someone who didn't care about themselves either. I understand she has an issue with eating, but sometimes we dont listen to the signs from our loved ones. You gave her signs that you wanted her to get healthy, you wanted her to care about herself more. She didnt listen and gave excuses to why she didnt want to help herself, or tried and couldnt keep it going. The truth of the matter is, until we are tired of our ways we wont do anything about it. When someone doesnt have it in their minds to change all their efforts are just temporary fixes to a permanant problem. The only thing you can change is you, and your choice was not to continue to live with that type of person. You werent married, there was no vows, so you made the right decision for you. Personally before I went to college and graduated, I settled for less than I deserved because I felt I didnt have the right to desire something I didnt have myself, but once I finished school, got a career, cleared my credit, bought a home, and started doing better for myself, I desired a man with education, a decent job, and aspirations as well. I dont want somone who has no goals or ambitions because soon our differences will come between us; unless he allows me to help him come up to a better level. If people are set to stay where they are and never strive for more then the only thing we can do is change us, and say I'm sorry but I have to go. This is just my opinion but I dont think what you did was wrong. You can't make a person change, they have to change themselves otherwise their change wont last.
