  1. Hey everyone! I am 28! I turned 28 a couple of days before I was sleeved! I was more excited about my sleeve date than my birthday! LOL
  2. Hey guys! I am down 55 pounds since my surgery on May 2nd. I haven't had any regrets or complications at all. I haven't puked yet thank god, although I have been very close to it a couple of times when I felt the food was stuck. I have been feeling great! And I love my sleeve.
  3. I just saw this post. Please let me know when you guys are ready to start another one.I would love to take on the challenge!
  4. Wow girl! You look amazing! Congratulations!!
  5. What a good feeling that is, congrats! I didn't even wear belts anymore because I couldn't find one that fit. Now there are tons of options!
  6. Same thing happened to me. Don't get discouraged! I have hit stalls a couple of times and I am 3 months out. Eventually you start loosing again, sometimes more than you expect! I am down 55 pounds and I have learned to cope with the stalls and just let my body loose weight at its own pace. Good luck!
  7. Thank you SouthernSleever!
  8. I felt the same way before surgery. I think it's the not knowing what to expect that really triggers the anxiety. But don't get discouraged! It is absolutely normal to be cautious about what happens to your body! You will do great just think of all of us here who have done this procedure and love it. When I was in the waiting room I thought, "hey, if they can do it why can't I". And I kept repeating that to myself until I felt at ease. Good luck tomorrow and I know you will do great!
  9. Congrats Bonnie you have done an awesome job!
  10. Thanks you LilMissDiva! BTW, you rocked your sleeve. Looking great girl! Keep it up!

  14. Congrats! You look great!
  15. I catch my husband sneaking peeks at me. I know he doesn't want to say anything because he would always tell me I looked beautiful to him no matter what. But I feel so good when I catch him staring with googly eyes! LOL
  16. You look awesome! Congrats!!
  17. I can't wait to be out of the 2's but I still feel good!
  18. You go girl! You look awesome!!
  19. It is possible it could have been something in the surrounding areas but I felt it right on my stomach. However, I did have a hiatal hernia removed near my stomach as well so maybe it was that? I am not sure. But something was hurt! OUCH!
  20. I was a Dorney park over the weekend and since I've been feeling well and in no pain at all and all my surgery wounds are completely healed I thought... what the heck, I can get in the wave pool! It's just Water right? WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! I was right in the middle of the pool.... testing out the water... when the first wave came. It was not a strong wave, I was not at the wave break whatsoever, but I felt like the wave was inside my stomach and I sort of felt my stomach being dragged with the wave! It was painful! It was like feeling a sharp stab. Of course, I immediately turned around and ran out of that pool like nobody's business! For about 5 minutes, every time I deeply inhaled, I felt a pain on my stomach. The pain eventually went away but I didn't dare get on anything after that! So for all you sleevers out there who are up and about 2 1/2 months after surgery remember, even though you feel great, you are not fully healed!! STAY AWAY FROM THOSE WAVE POOLS!!! (by the way; I've been completely fine in regular pools)
  21. Thanks everyone! I hope all of you are feeling and looking awesome too!
