Hair Loss

This Morning I was dyeing what is left of my hair to match my hair piece and feeling just a tad sorry for myself. Then as I looked at my hair all plastered against my head with dye, I stopped for minute and and thought how striking it was that I look much like my friends who are going through chemo. I have friend with breast cancer and one with ovarian cancer and have lost one to gall bladder cancer. Suddenly it put it all in perspective for me. I HAVE NOT LOST! I have gained health, energy, sexy, sassiness, ,athletic abilities, health, weight loss, life. REALLY what is hair compared to what my friends have lost?????? Not only have they lost body parts, ( very defining body parts) health, time on earth yet they go out and sport their naked heads without shame!

How dare I mourn the loss of some hair when they have lost all theirs and so much much more!
