  1. I am sitting here with my laptop since my husband has game on.. Thanks for the tips. I just had my orientation last week. Kaiser said it would be another 2 plus months for the late evening classes to start I figure what's a few more months when I have been fat most of my life.. I had the feeling I would have to drive the bus for this process.
  2. Just came from the orientation. They basicly went over everything I learned from all of you, it was pretty easy. After it was over they gave us a comment sheet to fill out and to sign up if we wish to go on the the 12 week classes. I am looking at Feb/March if all goes well for the WLS.
  3. Yeah I'am glad it's early you wont have to stress all day waiting. You're last fat summer!
  4. Good luck I will be thinking about you tomorrow!
  5. You need to post them. I know what you mean. We took family pictures two weeks ago, I had idea my face was so fat. I was so grossed out!
  6. I am so jealous of you! I can't wait to have 200 calories fill me up!
  7. First they tell me I am denied. Then I file an appeal. The next day I get a letter and a package for the Options program. The next day I talk to a very confused person at the members services and told her to withdraw the appeal that I got into the program. So I received a letter today:cursing: saying I requested to withdrawn from the options program. WTF!
  8. A week after the Dr. said I was turned down I received the information in the mail for the orientation and classes. I go this Thursday. I not sure what happened, but I read one post that said Kaiser lowered the BMI requirements to 35.
  9. These insurance companies really know how to mess with people. I read one post were a nurse said even if you are 1 pound from the 10% (under) the Surgeon won't see you.
  10. I have not heard this with Kaiser, only what they would like you to lose the 10%
  11. Lindora makes a really good protein drink called wildberry punch, it's now sold at Rite Aid. I wonder if those are considered clear liquid?
  12. Under User CP Click on pictures & albums. Add a album name, tile. Click on submit. Click on upload file.Click on choose file. Do you have your picture saved with a file name? Or in a folder.. look for the picture , click on the picture. On bottom it will say open at the bottom of the screen. click on that. It will then go back to album in the sleeve site. click on upload.
  13. I was speaking to someone from Member services at Kaiser. She said based on the outcome of the Orientation you might or might not be approved for the options classes? What do they need to verify I am obese lol.. Should I walk in looking extra fat and limp because of my sore knee. :scared0: Just wondering what to expect. I have Weight Watcher logs, I was thinking bringing various pictures to show all my sizes.
  14. Good luck, keep us posted for those that are "Sleevers in waiting"
  15. Wow that is a long process 3 yrs. I thought it was long here in the US.
  16. Good luck hopefully you will be scheduled in Oct and heeled up for holidays. Wow can you imagine a Christmas without the weight gain! I am figuring it wouldn't be until January, or even Feb before my date, thats if all go's as planned and no insurance hold ups.
  17. I have my orientation on Aug 26th. I am hoping the classes start in Sept and are not filled up.
  18. I was reading Lysine (amino acid) helps with hair loss. Has anyone tried this?
  19. Yeah! IT must be such a relief.
