  9. Hey everyone! Everything went well. I woke up with a foley, sore throat. Now I'm laying in bed watching tv and trying to relax. I have some pain right under my sternum. Leak test tomorrow then probably stay one more night. I have to get up and walk soon. The meds are making me sleepy but I don't mind st all. 19. Well, on a positive note, even if you are up all night going to the bathroom, You can still catch up on sleep during and after surgery. you will be sleep during surgery and probably a few hours after if you are on a PCA pump. I *just* choked down a bottle 5 minutes ago. I will update you on how fast it works LOL ETA: I'm just now starting to feel nauseous and a little stomach rumbling. I think Shells hit the nail on the head with 2 hours.
  20. congratulaitons for making it to "One-derland"!
  21. I clean when I get nervous or frustrated and right now my house is spotless, my plants have been replanted, and if it wasn't so cold out, the cars would be washed. I have ONE more day and a wake up before my surgery. Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited, but I'm really nervous because even though I lost on the pre-op diet, I'm still dangerously close to my cut-off. My body is just rebellious! As soon as she figures out I'm on some kind of diet, she shuts down all weight loss. Story of my life! Meanwhile, going to find something else to clean.
  22. Wow, 14? It seems so young, but you're right, you can't judge anyone without knowing the background of their decision. Hope all is well! When is your surgery scheduled?
  23. Good luck! I can't wait to join you!

Longer-life, that's another good idea. I'm definitely going to document everything I've been doing and give them a call this week to let them know how serious I am. I was talking to my husband and it hit me that my appointmet was at 1030 and I had been up driving since 330 am from DC to Portsmouth. I was drinking coffee and protein shakes the entire time so of course my weight was up! I was also weighed fully clothed, I think the next time I will strip LOL I'm a lot more calm now that I've gotten different perspectives and ideas from everyone. Thanks for all of the support!!
