Hi Emma!! You are in the right place!!! You will do great!!! You are soo young! That is a great advantage!! I just started my pre-op too! My surgery is Friday! I'm nervous & excited! There are soo many people on here that have such great success stories! I know you will be one too!!! Glad your here!!!

I'm with ya on the pre-op! It STINKS!!!! The first two days for me were hard! The second day was the worst, and I was on the verge of chewing my arm off!!!!!! By the 3rd day, I felt totally different, in a good way! I guess it took my mind a couple of days to catch up with what I was doing! Of course it doesn't help being a holiday weekend, but we gotta do it! Just think how hott we will be by Christmas!! I'm praying for all of us & know we will do great!!!! Kim

Glad you are starting to feel some better!!! I have heard walking is the best thing for the gas, but of course that would be hard to do when you feel like crap!!!! My surgery is Friday! I'm trying to prepare myself for the pain, but IDK if there is really a way to!! It does help talking to y'all!!! Does the gas-x help at all???

I'm so happy for all of you!!!! It's so exciting & scary at the same time!!! I start my pre-op diet on Friday!!! I can not believe my surgery is one week from Friday!!! That is crazy!!! After telling my family this past weekend, I feel like a million pounds was lifted off!!! Now I can concentrate on me and getting ready!!! I am always here for y'all!! Please keep in touch!!! Well.....I told the family yesterday!!!! Like most of you said, it went better than I thought. The initial reaction I got from them was exactly what I thought it would be , but then they listened and for the most part are on board. We had some tears, and there is a lot of concern, but they are supportive. I feel like a 1,000 pounds have been lifted off of me!!! Thank you all for the encouraging words!!! :tongue_smilie:

That is ridiculous!!!! I'm glad you told them no!!! Don't worry about being worked in!! These Dr. are used to having busy schedules, and he probably doesn't even know the story! I'll keep you in my prayers! I know you will do great!! Don't worry!
