  1. I'm not sure lol, I just remember trying to sit up straight hurt alot, so did slouching and once I actually would stand up and walk around I would be fine. I think the abdominal binder would have been perfect but I didnt wear it to work. That first day back was hell and when I got home I took pain meds, sat in my favorite chair and slept for 3 hours lol. I don't regret any of it though, best decision ever
  2. SN..............Starting Wt........Current.......Goal.......Lbs to Goal Candaceshenea............312................250..............250............0 I hit 250 yesterday! I'm so happy. If I can hit 249 before the 4th that would be cool. I told myself if I hit 250 for the July 4th challenge, I was going BIG for the Labor Day Challenge! I started this Challenge at 270, so I lost 20lbs, I think I may go for 30lbs the next challenge! Congrats everyone!

What size are you thinking about going to with your augmentation? I have too much boobies lol. But I definitely will need a lift out of this world lol. Even when I was in highschool someone made a comment to me about needing to wear better bras cause my boobs hung low. (I wanted to slap them lol) but yeah, I wonder will my lift come out ok w/o an implant?
  9. My arms are a little saggy but I definitely use the row machine at the gym at least 2 or 3 times a week. I say just get into the mindset that exercise is and should be a very important part of your life. It may not improve the saggy skin but you energy level will be through the roof, you will look alot more toned, and you will be sexy That's exciting, 18 more days!!!!!
  10. Yikes! I can't even imagine going to Vegas during pre- op diet but I know it will be possible, you will just have to restrain yourself and remember why you are doing this. Shopping, sight-seeing and shows and whatnot should distract you though. What does your liquid diet consist of? Mines was 5 slim fast shakes a day and 1 meal for dinner that was a piece of meat and 1 cup of veggies. If you have protein shakes I would say pack it all and take it with you. I hope this helps, I know you can do it!
  11. Yes it has to be supervised. I went to a weightloss doctor and he prescribed me adipex for 3 months and that was enough for insurance to use for documentation that I had been on a supervised weightloss program. The insurance lady at my surgeon's office said that a supervised weight program could also be seeing the dietician for 3 months before surgery, I didn't have to do that though because they approved me before the I even finished a month of seeing my dietician. What insurance do you have? I have BlueCross BlueShield FEP (federal employee program).
  12. WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are 53lbs away from goal! How does that feel?

I only wear bras from Lane Bryant- I absolutely love them.Even though my breast are shrinking I still look like I have nice round boobs with their bras. Last time I went in LB was 2 weeks ago and I was told I was at 42D from a 48I and I do need new bras badly but I'm going to wear these until I absolutely can't wear them anymore
  14. You are getting closer to your tenative date! excited????
  15. First off, Congrats! Fear is normal but it's only down from this point as far as your weight goes! Be positive! Optimistic! 17lbs in one week is amazing!!!
  16. I definitely think it has made things easier for me. I have so much energy and now I work out everyday- before I wouldn't dare lol. I think you heal alot faster the younger you are.
  17. Had the same problems! First thing I tried eating was an egg- it came right back up. I tried mashed potatoes, went down fine. The incision scar it hurt really bad as well, but I overdid it by swimming laps. After a couple of days or so, the pain just subsided. The doctor told me that it was normal. I haven't had any problems with it anymore. It may be spasms or something. You are still healing. That's the once scar my doctor's office forewarned me about!
  18. I tried going back to work after a week and 3 days- sitting at my desk for 30 minutes and starting feeling some of the worse pains, had a wore my abdominal binder it probably wouldn't have been so bad, but I actually had to wait 5 more days before I went back to work. I still had pain on that 5th day but it was minimal.
  19. I had the same problem! It eventually stopped though, I'm not really sure what the deal is with that.
  20. That's amazing! Congrats! and Happy Surgiversary!
  21. You're doing great!!!! WTG! I think you will definitely be under 200 before Christmas!
