  1. I ate a soft scrambled egg with a little bit of grits on week 4. I know I wasn't supposed to do it but it didn't bother me at all. I mixed some southwestern egg beaters and instant grits together in a blender, poured about a coffee cup full, sat the cup on my coffee cup warmer and ate about 1/2 of it in about an hours time. Hope this helps!! Good luck!
  2. Sweetie you move as much or less as you want to!! Only you know how much you can take! Congrats on the 2 house move! :D Keep up the good work and happy loosing!!
  3. I loved your post!!! You know how I like to get my read on!!! :Banane51: You spoke the truth about alot of things but there are two sides to everything. All of us have issues that we are trying to overcome and I think this forum is a good way to do that. We are talking to people who are just like us with like minds who have had the same or similar struggles with their love/hate relationship with food. You keep up the good work and the good fight and keep posting cause I do enjoy reading your posts. Take really good care of yourself!! Toodles!!
  4. You look GREAT!!! Keep up the good work!
  5. You look soooooooo pretty!!! Keep up the good work! :D
  6. Weighed this morning and I'm down another 2 lbs despite the fact that I ate BBQ and a slice of cake on the 4th!!! I know I'm still in the "honeymoon" phase so of course I'm back on track this week with tracking every morsel that comes across my lips and keeping my caloric intake at 900 or less. But I can't help myself I can't say it enough I love my Itty Bitty Belly!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Just wanted to share! Toodles!
  7. Congrats!!!! I'm excited for you!!! I know what you mean because without Itty Bitty Belly I would never in a million grillion years be at the weight I am now!!! :D I normally weigh on Sunday mornings before I go to church [i figured that Sunday was the best day of all to weigh right?] but today I got impatient, mainly because the 4th had just passed and I ate a piece of cake and BBQ . . . but to my surprise I still lost 2 lbs!!! So trust me I know exactly how you feel! Keep up the good work and keep dropping those pounds!!! Honey you are going to be out of the teens before you can blink an eye!!! Take care!
  8. YAY for you!!! I can't wait until I can claim Onderland!!! Just 10 more lbs for me!! I'm already warming up for my happy dance!! Congrats again!
  9. You look stunning!!! Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! Enjoy and take lots of pics to share with the board!! :D
  10. Hi! Actually before I had my surgery I made stewed chicken w/veggies!!! Really it's just glorified chicken soup but stewed chicken makes it sound like it's something really special!!! I strained the chicken and veggies out and separated the chicken stock. Froze both of them and thaw them out as needed. I blended up the chicken/veggies with the left over stock and made me some baby food/pureed food. Put that in a coffee cup, sat the coffee cup on a candle warmer and ate it very slowly. Trust me you can't eat a whole lot anyway but the candle warmer will keep it warm for you until you either get full or tired of messing with it. Hope this helps! Good luck on your weight loss journey!!
  11. Congrats on your date!!! Here's an early welcome to the loser's bench!!! :D
  12. YAY for you!!!! I can't wait until I can say I've lost 100!! You did it in 4 months WOW!!! Did you work out alot?? Congrats again!! :D
  13. Congrats to the both of you!!! Welcome to the looser's bench ... trust me it will get easier! :)
  14. Hi!! Sorry I'm not a teacher but I do have an idea . . . why don't you pack a protein shake . . . you know one that is already mixed! I love the premium protein shakes you can get them from Walmart or Sam's. If you don't want to drink your lunch you can also try your favorite lunch meat with cheese wrapped in it, you know like a little meat taco this way you can walk around eating it when you have lunch duty and will get in your protein and you will be full until you get another break and then you can get you some yogurt of whatever else you want. When I'm on the go and don't have time to eat a leisurely meal I go for the shake or the lunch meat and it has not failed me yet. Hope this helps!!!
  15. I totally understand. It is such a good feeling to buy things that look "cute" instead of what "fits" you!!! Good luck on your weight loss journey!!
  16. You were soooooooooo right!! I went back to Burlington and found some size 12s and I wore them to church 2 weeks ago!! I could not stop smiling. . . so after church we went to LadyVelvet's house [my sister] so she could squeal with me!!! Thanks!!
  17. Congrats on your decision and welcome to the board!!! I'm from Sugar Land, TX. I'm 51, 5'4" and used to weigh 260 a year ago. When I started this journey I was 242.5. As of this morning I weigh 212. I love my sleeve and you will too!!! Take care and keep us posted on your journey!
  18. Hello and welcome Tina!!! :D I'm from Sugar Land!! Congrats on your sleeve surgery and weight loss. My sister/bestie were sleeved on 5/13/11 by the same surgeon, same day, same everything!! I love my sleeve!! I had no complications either and am now on solid foods. I only eat about a 1/4 - 1/2 cup of anything I eat. I did buy myself a candle warmer so that my food can stay warm while I take "forever" to eat. So far I think I've lost around 45 lbs and I could not be happier. :) Anyway . . . welcome and keep us posted on your progress. Take care!
  19. YAY Beth!!! I'm glad you had an easy operation and having an even easier recovery!!! Mine was about the same as yours on 5/13 -- thank God!! Keep us posted!!
  20. :D WELCOME!!! You're going to love this forum! I was sleeved on 5-13-2011. I had a very easy recovery and have lost 45 lbs so far!! You're gonna love your sleeve!! Keep us posted on your progress! Toodles!
  21. Hey now Nikkeystar!!! Keep walking those stairs and you'll make that butt look like a 16 year old booty in no time flat!!! I wish I had stairs where I am cause I'd try to walk them too!!! Congrats on your accomplishment!! Keep up the good work!
  22. Hi Lisa!! You are so right about the exercise and water. Exercising is about the hardest thing to do but it is sooooooo worth it! ! My sister and I meet at Lifetime Fitness at 4:00 a.m. 3-5 times per week and get our workout on!!! We motivate each other!! We were both sleeved on the same day, same surgeon, same hospital, etc. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll loose those 30 lbs in no time flat! Take care!!
  23. This is the gym my sister and I belong to. It is AWESOME!!! The staff is great, they have good classes for just about everything, basketball court, child care plus a rock climbing wall [i'm going to talk her into climbing that way if it's the last thing I do!! ;) ] I suggest you go by there and do a tour I promise you will love it!!! Take care!!
