  1. You look GREAT! Keep up the good work and you'll be to goal in no time!
  2. This is GREAT! I'm feeling like I didn't do too well with eating this last week in the sense that I have hardly eaten. I am so stressed over school it is just terring up my tummy! I have NO appetite. Also I had a cocktail yesterday for "lunch". I was out with a group to study for school and a few of us had cocktails. I just had one it was my first in a VERY LONG time. It gave me a buzz right away, but didn't affect me in any bad way, so that was good to know I guess that I can still have a drink once in a while! I just didn't eat lunch and that was not good. I also have not been good on my water intake some days I don't drink any and that is BAD! AND, I have been forgetting to take my vitamins! Sorry this is long, just needed to get it off my chest and to people who would understand where I'm coming from! I really need to get back on track. OH, one more thing! So, I've lost 55lbs so far and am feeling like a saggy old lady! I've lost my butt, and my boobs hang down to my toes, lol. My skin is feeling saggy and I just don't know what to think. I know I need to get back to the gym. Hopefully very soon school will lighten up and I can workout more! Thanks for listening. I appreciate you all.
  3. I'm so sorry you're feeling that way! I too have a ton of hairloss, and am scared! I hope the concealer you get does the trick for you! Just think, it will come back soon, it's not gone forever! HUGS!
  4. Just DO IT! It will be the best decision you'll ever make. There may be struggles, but in the end it is all going to be worth it! Research a lot and spend hours on this board before, and after. I LOVE this board and all the wonderful people and their support! Also find a support group you can go to before, it really helped me get a lot of questions answered and I still go and LOVE my group!
  5. My hairdresser said the color wouldn't affect the hairloss. My hair has been falling out since about 2 mo out. I gotta cover the gray so I'm coloring, lol!
  6. I'm 4 mo out and my hairloss started at 2 mo out. I do have A LOT of hair, but it is coming out in handfuls. It is pretty scary! I wonder if my weight loss is mostly from my hair, lol just kidding. But seriously it is CRAZY how much hair I am losing. It is all over the house and the shower is now clogged! Don't mean to scare you, just tellin the truth. For me anyways! Sure hope it stops soon! Maybe you'll get lucky and not have much. I would still do it over and over again!
  7. Wow, that is incredible. Surely not what you had planned for! I'm so glad they took such good care of you and you are home and recovering now. Take it easy, rest and get some fluids in! This will only be but a memory very soon. We are all here for you and praying for a speedy recovery! Take care, Beth
  8. Awesome, great job. Can't wait to be there one day myself!
  9. That is the BEST NSV ever! You know when people don't say a thing, but what they are thinking on the inside...JEALOUS! HAHA, ENJOY it girl!!!
  10. Sophia, YOU are one strong woman and in the end you WILL turn this around and everything is going to be ok. You already started by exercising! Just keep focused on that and eating the right nutritious foods! Everyone here loves you and is here for you if you need us for anything, even a shoulder to cry on. Stay positive and hold strong to your faith and you will come out on top! Hugs, Beth
  11. You look SO good! I really can't even believe the transformation! That is INSANE! Go girl, you can make it to your goal! I mean only 43 lbs to go? You can do it! I'm only 10 weeks out and down 38 lbs and I know I have changed but it's the same for me as you it's hard to see everyday unless you look at pictures, and your pictures are amazing! Here's to an AWESOME 2012!!!
  12. That is awesome you are doing so good with the weight loss and all of the new exciting things in your life. I feel you on the not being able to eat a whole meal while it's hot, but I'm the same as you and then think how thankful I am that I can't eat the whole meal, but enjoy some of it and then again have some for later. Like you said that is what got us fat in the first place. Looks like my stats are just about the same as yours. I can't wait til I'm where you are. I know it will come soon enough! Keep up the good work and congrats on your success so far! Happy New Year!
  13. I will cry too when I get to a size 4! That is just AWESOME! Love that you workout and enjoy the rewards. I too am enjoying working out and tightening up! Happy New Year!
  14. Congrats, that is an accomplishment for sure! Can't wait til I can post the same thing! Happy New Year!
  15. I don't think losing 2 lbs after a stall is bad. For me the weight hasn't come off that fast either! Last week I lost nothing! The week before that was 3 lbs. I've been a pound a week for a while and I know it's frustrating, but just stay positive and know that this has to work! Your body is probably adjusting to the loss. Make sure you drink your water and get in your protein! As I say this to you, I'm also reminding myself, lol. It is hard some days to make sure we get in everything we need. You'll be to your goal in no time and look back and laugh that you were even worried! Happy New Year!
  16. I was sleeved on Oct 27th and have lost 21 lbs since surgery. 33 lbs altogether counting the preop diet. I started off great too and for the last few weeks have only lost a pound a week or so. Same as you up and down a half or quarter. It is frustrating. I feel like I'm eating a variety of foods good on my protein, not as good on the fruits and veggies either and get most of my water in. I think it is just a 5 week stall and it will break soon. Are you exercising? I have been at the gym 3-5 times per week since week 2. I feel your pain and think the same did I do this to only lose 30 lbs? I think we just need to keep on pushing thru and things will work out. I mean look at ALL these people on this site that have lost SO much weight. I don't think we are any different than them and we too will make our goals. Keep your chin up and push forward! Take care, Beth
  17. Amazing story! There is still much more to come, enjoy the ride!
  18. Here's an easy story ok, and I know others that have had just as easy of a time. I went to the hospital on Thursday had my surgery and went home Friday afternoon. For me it was easier than my 2 c-sections. I haven't struggled at all. This was the best thing I ever did for myself! Just think even if you struggle a bit in the long run this will be the best thing you are going to do for yourself! I was even back exercising at week 2! The honest truth hardest part for me was the 2 week pre op diet so if you can do that you'll be FINE! Keep your chin up and keep reading and posting to this board. There is a lot of great people on here with great stories and advice. Best of luck to you!
  19. Don't try the Unjury brand unflavored. It has an aftertaste/smell that is NASTY! Sorry not much help here!
  20. Made this the other day and it is SOOOO good! Thanks for the idea!
  21. I'm 12 days out and have been walking and was just cleared by the doctor to go back to the gym. I have had absolutely NO complications and went home from the hospital the day after surgery. SO looking forward to starting back lifting weights tomorrow (light, of course!) Hope you can get back to it soon too!
  22. My surgery was on Thursday and I went home from the hospital on Friday afternoon. I only brought my toothbrush, hairbrush and a few magazines which I actually read one of. The first day I was mostly out of it and slept a lot and watched some TV. The second morning I was up early and went for a walk and brushed my teeth and read my magazine, then I went home! I showered when I got home also and it was much nicer than the hospital. I guess it just depends on how long you stay! Good luck and speedy recovery!
  23. Thanks guys, I'll just see how I feel and try and make the street at least! Happy Halloween!
