  1. Did you eat too much? When I was first starting out, a couple of bites is all I could handle.
  2. Where do you find the Greek yougurt at Walmart? I have been looking for this for months. Is it right there with all the other yougurt? If so, they don't have it at my Walmart. I bought some of the carb smart yesterday and thought it was pretty tasteless. I am going to add some SF syrup that I put in my Protein drinks and see if that helps.
  3. Dr. Campos called me today while I was in Walmart of all places. He was nice enough to hold on while I went outside cause I could not hear him in there or get good reception. He told me to drink SF gatoraide, get some dramamine (SP?) and go to the dr. to see if I have an ear infection. He said ear infections cause nausea. I don't have any symptoms of an ear infection. I think it is sleeve related because I was fine all day and just now I ate some ground turkey meatballs and now I feel very nauseous. I did buy some SF Gatoraide, but I seriously doubt if I have an ear infection.
  4. I sure didn't tell anyone. It's been great. It's nobody's business. You should come to chat. We have a good time in there. And if you're in Southern CA, you're on the time zone most of us are in. You need to chat with your sleeve sisters!
  5. Protonix is great. It's nice and tiny and easy to swallow. I never have acid problems.
  6. tiff come in and chat with me!
  7. I am opening the chat window for anyone who wants to talk early. I know it's harder for those people on the east coast or midwest with the time change since those of us on Pacific time don't start until 8 or 9 pm Pacific time. So come on in!
  8. well if I can find a better one than the one I have while I am in Vegas, I will get it and ship it home. The one I have is okay, but it would be really cool to have a better one since we all know I am addicted to the scale and have no plans to change that.
  9. I went to the dr. and he gave me more sleep meds and scheduled a complete physical in a month. He thinks I am nauseous because I hardly sleep. I doubt if that is what is causing the nausea, but I am all for getting enough meds so I can sleep through the night. If I am still nauseous in a couple days, I am going to ask for nausea medication.
  10. It is hard to learn. It's hard to know when to stop because I am much more full 15 min after I am done than when I think I am done. I have learned to stop before I am full knowing I will be really full in 15 minutes.
  11. I take Protonix. It comes in generic and it works great.
  12. I try to picture one of those itty bitty cans of chicken salad. I know one of those works well for me. If I were to chop up solid meat, it would have to fit into one of those cans. Anymore than that, and I am foaming and sliming and miserable. I will be glad to see Mac's picture.
  13. Renee, since you have had your sleeve longer than some of us, can you tell us if you were nauseous for the first few months? There are quite a few of us who are struggling with this. It would be nice to know it goes away.
  14. You're welcome! I guess if you take it with food in your stomach, the food absorbs it, and it can't do it's job.
  15. I feel bad for all of you who don't like the Protein drinks. There are many that I like. I also heard from another friend that the Chike that Mac recommends is really good. When I start running out of some of the stuff I have, I am going to order some of that. I do believe Mac posted some links where you can get samples of it. Plus she said she tried a lot of them, and those were one of the few she could tolerate. I really encourage people to try to find one they like. Not getting enough protein can be the cause of being so tired, and generally not feeling well.
  16. Do you think it's just as good as the one that Mac is talking about?
  17. A lot of people just order the work book. I guess if you have the work book, you really don't need the book.
  18. Hey we are in there chatting. come and join us!
  19. Is it too late for chatting? I would love to talk to someone!
  20. It's actually both. Sometimes I just can't stand it though. I get so thirsty, I have to have a sip of water when I eat.
  21. It's good though that you're getting your liquids down. Are you on full liquids yet? Fulls are so much easier than clears. there are a lot of good Soups out there and you can have sf fudgsicles too.
  22. They do sell some off brand at the dollar tree. The ones in the grocery store are by the cans of tuna and they are bumble bee brand.
  23. I forgot how much I love provolone cheese. I definitely need to pick some of that up next time I venture out to the store. I tend to eat the cheese that comes in sticks. I love the low fat colby jack. I think I eat too much dairy. Today I had a can of slim fast low carb for lunch. Popping open a can was the best I could do today.
  24. I don't think it was something I ate. I honestly think it's from not sleeping. I woke up at 3 am after going to bed at midnight and could not go back to sleep. I have a doctor's appt. thurs.
  25. I take mine first, then drink a Protein drink after. If I have something different for Breakfast, I take my Vitamin then have breakfast. I got some liquid Vitamins at costco that I took for awhile too.
