Stalls are normal. You don't lose weight every day or ever week. Your body needs to adjust. I had one month I lost zero pounds but 2 dress sizes. If you are eating right you have nothing to worry about the weight will come off.

You have to do what's best for you! Once you have it done that's it, no going back. I was nervous leading up to my procedure but I did it! And I feel I had no choice. I was 235 pds at 4"11 yoyed for 6 years and was borderline diabetic & I think I have undiagnosed pcos from the weight gain over the years. I couldn't live another year like that. Hope you find comfort in your decision.

Cheating on pre op liquid diet

I can't answer your question but suggest you take in more protein in the form of meat, ham, pork, beef, etc and this may make your experience more possible. You still have time and I wouldn't want my doctor to stop the surgery before completed. I'm on your same liver reduction 2week diet and it's no fun...you can do it if you've lived overweight for part of your life you are surely strong enough to see this through. I believe in you. Karen

    PreOp Shakes/sucralose

Just go with whatever tastes the best. Pre-op is hard enough, might as well get a shake you like (if there is such a thing!). Don't stock up for post-op though -- there's a good chance your tastes will change.

    Pre-op protein drinks

They usually run 30 grams of protein. 170 calories and 5 grams of carbs, 2 of sugar. Donna

I can't speak to Mexico specifically, but here are some items I found really helpful when I was sleeves 3 weeks ago: 1. Electric heating pad 2. Sleeveless nightgown 3. My favorite pillow with a colored pillowcase (so the nurses knew it came from home) 4. Brand new pack of underwear (just felt good since I couldn't shower until it was time to leave) 5. Flip-flops for walking around. The socks with grippies just didn't do it for me. 6. Check-list of phone numbers for my boyfriend to call to let everyone know I was ok. I divided it up between "Text" and "Call" and included my closest friends, parents, and work team. When I was in recovery he was getting all the congratulatory/good luck/rooting for you notes on my behalf It was great to fully wake up to. 7. Loose yoga pants for going home. Your tummy may be bloated from all the gas used during the procedure. 8. Biotene. Your mouth gets dry from surgery and you may not be able to get up to brush. The minty biotene covers you for both 9. If you use a CPAP and your hospital allows you to bring your own, DO IT. I had a strong reaction to the anesthesia, so I slept for basically the entire first day. The second day I was able to stay awake and alert for longer stretches, but not enough to read or watch tv or use my laptop. I used my phone a little to check Facebook and Pinterest, but I barely remember.

I had my surgery in November 2015. I am down 150 pounds and have surpassed my initial goal weight by 12 pounds. I am now going for the blue ribbon, and attempting to lose another 18 pounds. This would bring me much lower than I ever thought I could physically get, and it will be time for plastic surgery. Amazingly, for unrelated reasons, I just moved to Mexico. Of course, I will be doing a lot of research, but I always figured I would come to Mexico for plastics anyway. I am almost 40 and I'm not trying to get the body of a 20-year-old girl who never had weight problems, but it is my intention to get the Fluer-de-lei tummy tuck and to have my breasts lifted. My question is to those who have had these procedures, how does this affect the vaginal mound? I do not want to have surgery on my labia or Clitoral area, but I do have extra skin above there that is not technically my stomach, but a fleshy mound that grew around my clit, and has now deflated. I do not want to have a tummy tuck that makes it look like my stomach and my vagina do not belong next to each other vertically. Does anybody have any experience with this? Is it a separate procedure? I do not want to risk having any nerves severed around my clit or labia. I just want the top of my ***** to blend in with the bottom of my belly when the surgery is done.
