  6. Its the salmon. After my surgery it caused that to me on multiple occasions. I have learned that it is too fat of a fish for us to handle. Everytime I have eaten it I get really sick and get diaherrea. That is the one fish we cant eat anymore. Even though it has one of the highest Protein levels. I am over a year out and still unable to eat it. Hope that helps
  7. coffee will send your stomach into chaos. It will hurt and make you sick. There is too much sugar. I started doing their tea latte's and those seem to be fine as there is no coffee and less sugar.

  10. Okay so now that I have been cleared by the doctor. I found out after speaking to a few of them. We actually do not need Pre-natal Vitamins. Our Bariatric vitamins we take daily are enough. The only extra vitamins I now have to take are Folic Acid, B12 and Biotin (Which is actually for my hair LOL).. I compared the Prenatal to my Multivitamin and I actually get more from mine than the prenatal. Hope this helps anyone looking.

  12. I am a year out of surgery and I still have a lot of burping. I think its normal as the stomach is smaller so you get more air trapped. There is times that it hurts until I burp. Hope that helps

  14. Hello Everyone, I am a year out of surgery and I am planning on getting pregnant. I wanted to hear from others as I am scared of the high risk pregnancy and malnutrition. I am also very terrified of the weight gain as I am addicted to the scale now (I literally had to have my husband hide the scale from me). Has anyone had a baby after weight loss? How did you handle putting on weight? How did you not gain a lot of weight? I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and will talk to them about being on a strict diet. Before surgery I was diabetic and I am fearful that will come back with the pregnancy as well. Any advice or if anyone can share their story and please tell me straight forward. I know everyone is different but I just want to hear the good and the bad. HW 303 SW 296 CW 170
  15. Its normal. They have been shoving fluids in you to keep you hydrated. Its going to be important to drink a lot as its easy to get dehydrated. Good luck
  16. Prilosec will be your best friend. Most foods have a lot of acid and after surgery your stomach is so small. AVOID FISH AND meats. I had the same problem with mine. To this day I am 11 months out and still have trouble with meats and fish. just make sure you drink enough as dehydration is very easy now. Best of luck.
  17. Hi Everyone, I had Gastric Bypass January 13, 2016. I have officially lost 128lbs. for the past few months my weight loss has slowed to a crawl. I was losing way more weight before now it just seems like a few pounds here and there. My goal is so close I only have 30lbs more to go. Any one have any suggestions to help bump the last few lbs away. I work out 5 days a week for 1 hour. I eat really good. Just dont understand why its so hard to lose the last little bit. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks
