    Pressure and Bloat

When I did my pre-op for my VSG I had loose stools and was gassy. When I did my pre-op for my VSG to RNY revision I was constipated and bloated even with the same diet. Some people experience loose stools and lots of gas with a mostly or all liquid diet. Just depends on your body and how it wants to handle things. Hang in there, the loose stools and gassiness didn’t last forever for me, just a few days so hopefully the same for you!

    Constantly feeling overly full

Oh no i am so sorry your experiencing this. I cannot relate so it's hard to know what to say to u. This is obvious, but ld def talk to ur doc asap after the holiday. I know everyone is diff and some ppl do feel extremely full, nauseous and even hungry. Since everyone is so diff its hard to know what is "normal" and not concerning. Good luck and keep us posted! Thanks, everyone! Oddly, I got onto the scale a few hours later and it read 209.5 - which is more like where I should be. I'm guessing it has to be the scale, but the stupid thing is brand new! I bought it when I started this journey, so I'm not sure what happened.

    Pressure and Bloat

if you've never had problems with artificial sweeteners before, then that's probably not what's going on. Not sure. Obviously there's something that's upsetting your system, though. Keep us posted....

maybe the protein shakes? Maybe there's something in there that your system can't tolerate? Like maybe whatever artificial sweetener they use? (some people get gastric distress from certain artificial sweeteners). Are you able to try another brand - or do they want you on Premier?

I bought so much yummy broth stuff for home better than bullion only to find myself puking up broth post op at hospital 🤣. My pouch likes the coldest cold

    DON'T DO IT

Very dramatic story, very detailed, NICE TRY to dupe people. So many details piled up together (grenade-looking drain, colostomy bag, stomach stent, many bags taken out of the taxi on return from hospital - like returning from Caribbean vacation etc etc). BTW there is NO Dr.Kantner as bariatric specialist anywhere in Virginia...hehe...and another 20 or so discrepancies i found in this story.

Ive been to 2 weddings since surgery. First one was at 3 months then the next at 6 months. I drank a lot at both and very much enjoyed how quickly it metabolized. I only drink on special occasions and at nicer restaurants. 1 bad night of choices doesnt make or break things as long as it doesnt turn into a pattern. Of course most of us ended up needing this surgery because it became patterns but hopefully with the weight loss and retraining we make better choices.
