    Rumbling tummy

I am 2 and a half months post gastric bypass surgery and it seems like my stomach is rumbling and growling and gurgling constantly to the point that I am really becoming self conscious about it. It is sooooo loud and embarrassing! It doesn’t hurt and I am not hungry but it does it anyway. I just wanted to see if anyone else has this issue and if it will be like this forever or maybe tone down a little. On the up side....I feel great!!!!!

    Rumbling tummy

Susie, I'm over 3 months and get the rumbling with yogurt (although I live off yogurt) and also get the hiccups. They are both annoying and embarrassing. Glad it see it passes!

Eating and drinking at the same time

you'll have to do that for the rest of your life. it doesn't cause dumping syndrome or make you sick. It washes the food out of your stomach so you get hungry again faster.

That was my "concern". Maybe concern isn't the right word. Given my exercise and current caloric intake, I am consistently at a large deficit in calories daily. I imagine I wouldn't continue to lose weight to the point of looking anorexic and that maybe it would stop eventually. I don't foresee me adding in TOO many more calories by the time I hit 12 months out. There's only so much I can fit in me comfortably. Given that I stick to low carb foods, they are all pretty much low calorie, as well. Maybe eventually I will add in more carbs when I am comfortable with doing so.
