It's important not to get caught up in a specific number - you haven't gained excessively and you have changed behaviors. We stress that your insurance company - whoever they are - is NOT THE BOSS OF YOU when it comes to pre-surgery diet programs. You Gained Weight During Your Pre-Op Diet . . . Now What? Good luck!
And if I didn't have a Directions card( formerly Food Stamps) I couldn't afford THAT. It was very hard applying at my age(73) emotionally to request that, but, until Spring comes and I can put a little garden out it helps quite a bit!👈👵👉
its a dramatic difference, not just in size obviously, but youre not out of breath, youre a hell of a lot more limber, you last longer and all those hormones will kind of make you real horny quite alot more. so prepare the woman in your life.
If you're only a day away from surgery, it's time to stop doing research. Stay positive! The chances of something going wrong are slim. I was super nervous going into my surgery also but all was a breeze! I wish you a speedy recovery!
I didn't experience any nausea but the pain was pretty high for the first two days. It got a lot easier after that. I think I was off all pain medicine by 6-7 days post op. There are so many factors but I would be prepared for a lot of pain. That way you might be pleasantly surprised if it's not as bad as you expected!
I'm going to post my (almost) 3 month success.
I have conquered a brutally painful post-op ulcer. A gallbladder removal where it had to be peeled off my liver from having embedded itself into it. And a hernia repair where my intestinal junction had started to separate. All in the last 2.5 months. I am healed up completely now (still a week from exercise post-gallbladder) and ON TRACK LIKE A NORMAL PATIENT. Suck it, unjust medical complications!
And I am officially my lowest adult weight since 2013. 63lbs down since September. 53lbs down since 11/1 surgery.
And that's my mini-success.
My gripe today is not being able to go to the bathroom. I started taking a probiotic yesterday so i hope it kicks in soon. I am over this constipation stuff.. It is driving me crazy!
I am just wondering if any of you have whole wheat tortillas in your plan? During the soft stage I am allowed to add crackers and whole wheat bread. Do you think mini whole wheat tortillas would fit in this category? Not a big enough deal to warrant a call to the NUT, just was a conversation I was having with my son about certain foods.
