I want to wear jersey. I miss jersey. I want to put on a very sexy 'jersey' outfit go out with the guy who dumped me today and make him suffer. I didn't tell him I had the surgery. Oh he will suffer. I want to flirt with him all night and allow him to think he's going to get some and after dinner.... Be like DEUCES.

    Liver shrinking diet

My surgeon does not have this recommendation but I have heard that it makes the surgery go a lot easier. I have a co-worker who has been banded and I got a copy of her pre-op diet. This meal plan consists of consuming 4 Protein drinks and 1 meal at regularly spaced intervals throughout the day. For example: 7:30 am - Protein Bar or shake 10:30 am - protein bar or shake 1:30 pm - protein bar or shake 4:30 pm - protein bar or shake 7:30 pm - meal/TV-dinner (Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones, etc) Note: if you still have calories available and are still hungry you can add lean meat to your dinner; such as boneless, skinless chicken Women 5'4" and below: 1100 calories and at least 60 grams of protein daily Women above 5'4": 1200 calories and at least 65 grams of protein daily Men 5'9" and below: 1300 calories and at least 70 grams of protein daily Men above 5'9": 1400 calories and at least 75 grams of protein daily Do NOT consume more than your calorie limit and get at least your protein minimum every day for two weeks. I have been using the EAS Protein Bars and shakes - specifically the carb control bars and shakes. You can get these at Walmart. Debora

    Where did I go wrong?

How frustrating this must be for you! I can only imagine the range of emotions you must be feeling. On the bright side tho you did it once before with the band surely you can do it again. But I think first you've got to forgive yourself and make up your mind to commit to changing your habits the way you did the first time around. The good thing is that you above new bandsters can trust that your band can work since you've already learned how to work with it and meet your goals before. If I was you I would go all the way back to basics as if the band was new, maybe even get a fill if necessary. If you've been over eating chances are you have stretched your pouch so do the pouch test for a week and go back on your liquid diet and replace meals with protein shakes. Start excercising, you can start small like parking in the back of the parking lot of stores and walking to the mail box instead of stopping on the way in driving and such. Go on walks with your baby and use her nap times to work out. Get rid of all the things that you weren't eating when you were losing weight. Sort of give your body the shock it hasn't had in a while surely that'll kickstart your weight loss. Im sure once you start seeing progress again you'll start to feel motivated to do more. Set mini goals instead of looking at the daunting task of trying to lose all the weight at once. Make it a true lifestyle change, we all know diets although sometimes they work- the results dont last. Stay in the support of people who understand and can relate with your battle and dont punish yourself any longer. You can do it again and be an inspiration to people who are in your shoes or afraid they will be. Best of luck and stay strong!! You can do this!

Well as far as the jealousy goes there's really nothing you can do about that. I would definitly not worry myself about their issues cause in the end, it's their issue, not yours. Congrats to you for your 70 pound weight loss before being banded and congrats for taking control of your life Don't let haters discourage you but let that be your motivation. You should strive for 20 haters by the end of the year. I had several people pull the jealousy thing on me when they found out that I was getting lap band but I have to live for me and make myself happy. I consider it a waste of time to be hateful toward others or try to figure out why they are hateful towArds me. Take care of you girl and congrats again.

    TALKING ABOUT SEX

@Shirley Don't believe the hype. He doesn't sound like a stand up guy from jump. Anything that comes out of his mouth is suspect. Do you really want an answer to that question? Of why SOME black men choose white women or are you most comfortable with that experience you mentioned. Let me know. I will hook you up with some sociology 102

Skinty, Smiling is contagious. I hear you on the dead weight. 'Do yo thang, girl.' I know it hurts when men misbehave. I wish he WOULD, marry someone else. He would not be safe. His behind would have to go into the witness protection program. Ha I am so glad I made this decision. I saw my family yesterday. My sister said OMG your stomach is flat (its not but)...but its nice to know its getting smaller. I'm 8 days out, wow. Either that or she was really high cause she smokes major reefa. lol It's good to read other goals its so helpful. @LB. I'm down with the snorkling and the white Water rafting. TALKING ABOUT SEX

What does it say about me that I got it instantly? She means can you, ah, swallow? In my opinion, its best to avoid it forever, just in case. I explained to my husband that it was very very dangerous to have oral sex once the band was placed. And anyway I've been married 20 years and I got a big diamond ring a few years back so i shouldnt have to anymore . And last I checked, lying on my back going through my shopping list and wondering whether I put the washing in the dryer didnt bother my band at all. My poor DH. He'd say I'm always joking at his expense and he's right. Only I'm not completely joking, lol.

    TALKING ABOUT SEX

Ah, I forgot 6 is large for your men. My man is not on the teenie weenie committee. I'M JUST SAYING. @ Jonna WTH are you talking about? Really, I don't understand. @ Jackie I'm not concerned about my doctor being bothered. I am concerned about my comfort in this matter. @ elcee research is good. You may have wanted to do a bit of research before answering my question. Here is the thing, I'm not concerned about the physical placement of the band but of the reflexes which it may or may not cause. @ red, bromo and Lynn, you are all way too întellectual for me. @ Floridays. Thank you for being mature In this matter.
