I don't know what to do anymore!!! I've been taking my gas-x and even bought something that is supposed to be the "best" for gas. I've been walking, drinking water, ect. My left shoulder is throbbing and I don't know how much longer I can take this!!!! I've also tried a heating pad! HELP!!!!!! any ideas?

I also had a lot of pain in my shoulders and neck. I had my surgery on Tuesday and now most of that pain is gone. I still have gas pain in my chest though. I've taken Pepcid but it doesnt seem to do anything for me. Sometimes I feel fine and then I will get a shooting pain that stops me in my tracks for a few seconds. Hoping this passes soon. Just keep thinking that this too shall pass. The first few days are hell. Good luck to you!

I so feel your pain! I had my surgery back in July and I still remember the gas pain! One thing I can tell you is it DOES go away! Keep doing what you are doing and you will be OK. Good luck & keep us posted please!

Hang in there! Keep walking. I had incredible pain in right shoulder after mine and wanted to climb a wall.

Think ice would help instead of heat?

If pain keeps up don't be afraid to reach out to your nurse or doctor. Good luck.

Drink hot tea, and keep walking that should help. Best of luck.

Hi Everyone!!! The pain is still there and horrible! the gas medicine doesn't work and neither does the pain medicine. I was reading that some people don't even have the issue with gas! :( I've been taking nightly walks to try to get it out and I know this is TMI, but I burped this morning! FINALLY!!! It felt so good! What a relief. Hoping this pain will go away soon cause I want to go back to work! I've lost 9 pounds since thurs though! WOOHOO

Eloisa - My gas pain lasted a full week! The last episode was the worst of all. It was about 15 minutes of TERRIBLE pain. I almost decided to go in to the hospital. I was in tears. 15 minutes later - POOF - gone for good! Hang in there girl!
