pre-admission testing/Dr, visit

:thumbup:Today was my appointment with dr. had to be there at 11:00. went over everything he gave me a prescription for my pain meds.then had to go to hospital for pre-admitting testing has to do an ekg,an the nurse took about 6 vails of blood they also ask me all kinds of questions, then i met the anathesiologist hope i spell that correct, he told me what will happen,he gave me pecid tablest one for the night before surgery an the one the day of surgery.in all i was there from 11:00 until 3:30.

Nov.26th info session

:cool:this morning was my app for the info session, thats when the doc get a group of people together. to discuss the surgery an to answer any queastions that you may have, now he says the office will submit them today they will recieve them on monday then it,s takes about 2 weeks to make a decision.they also took a photo an did a weigh in so as of today i weigh 282.8 pounds my goodness in total i have lost 40 pounds. when i started the process back in april it was 324 pounds. i am trying to ke

Submitted to insurance/nov,6/08

on oct,15 i did my pulmonary test, it took a week for the results to come back so i bugg the office they didn,t know anything so i decided to call the pulmonary office to tell them where to fax my results, they did, an i call my surgeon office yesterday an ask for a date,she ask me have i seen the doctor yet i say no, so she,s going to send my case into review the same day. so i hope i will get a surgery date i have started the process on april now it,s nov. so hopefully they will call soon.:smi

Pulmonary test today oct,15

TODAY I WENT FOR MY PULMONARY TEST, IT HAD THREE TO FOUR PARTS FIRST I HAD TO BLOW INTO A TUBE, DEEP LONG BREATHS YOU HAVE TO CONTINUE TO BLOW UNTIL NOTHING LEFT, THEN AGAIN I WAS PUT INTO A BOOTH SHE TURN ON OXYGEN I HAD NOSE CLIPS PUT ON MY NOSTRILS I HAD TO PUT BOTH HANDS ON MY CHEEKS AN THEN PANT FASTER AN FASTER. I NEVER HAD ONE DONE BEFORE WHAT AN EXPERIENCE, THE LAST PART I HAD TO BLOW FAST IN AN OUT AS FAST AS I COULD, SHE SAID I DID GOOD.I HAD TO STICK A TUBE IN MY MOUTH AN BLOW. MY APP

went to see my pcp.

I had a appointment with my pcp on sept 11, for a chest xray, also a ekg, on sept 19, i went for a stress test, where they give you a shot in your iv, to slow your heartrate then you get on a traedmill. an walk, let me tell you i have never in my life been on a treadmill,it was like watching a newborn baby walk,what a shame,i do exercise but it,s on a stationary bike, let me tell you i was pitiful then they speed it up, but she said i did good.i hit the mark. you has to go a certain speedi guest

Had my evaluation today

:thumbs_up:today i went to my evaluation today oct,2 an pass with flying colors did not have to answer a whole lot of questions, only the one,s he sent in the mail. maybe 20 questions,that he had all arrange in similar order, an paid him $150.00 an was on my way, back to waterbury, i went to newhaven for the evaluation. me an my daughter.monday i have to take another part of my stress test with my pcp, so i hope everything goes okay. wish me luck, good luck to everyone on your new journey in lif

hello everyone,need some advice.if i had known to schedule my own evaluation i would have done it sooner, but my dilema is do i pay $150.00 for it because my appt. is next thursday,of do i wait for nov 14th, an pay nothing. i am tired of waiting.i thought i was having the surgery sometime in sept. i,ve finish everything but my evaluation. i can,t get an appt until nov, i don,t wanna wait that dam long i am gonna opt for the $150.00 an he said one day an i,m finish he will fax them over the sam

:rolleyes:here it is sept 16. the nutrionist fax my records over to the doctor,s office. they were their a week from friday so i decided to give the office a call they were indeed there, i,m thinking the office suppose to call me for a appt. wrong she said i have everything except your evaluation i was shock if i had known you suppose to make your own appt. it would have been done earlier. so i ask who she recomend she gave me a name. but he,s in newhaven an dosen,t take medicare he charges $150

sept 3rd my last dietian appt.

:smile::thumbup:hello everyone today i went for my last dietian class. got on the newhaven bus to go to clinic, appt was for 11:00 got their at 10:30 took ten minutes. she will fax my paperwork over to doctor,s office friday. hope to get a call next. in the mean time i lost another 12lbs for a total of 27lbs on my own so keeping my fingers cross hope to be banded this month sept.:party::w00t:
