OK, ok.....ENOUGH!!!

Recommended Posts

I have gained about 4-5 lbs in these last few weeks. I've stopped going to the gym because I haven't paid, but that's just another excuse for me....IM BEING SUPER LAZY AND BACKSLIDING!!!! :) Im done with it. It may only be 4-5 lbs, but I can really feel it. I've lost the energy I had when I did go to the gym and was eating better and I feel super bloated, maybe its all in my "mind", but its getting to me! So today, Im done with the excuses and getting back up on this dang wagon. I need this for me!!! WHO'S WITH ME?????? B)

I know that I have a somewhat good restriction, I just eat horribly, and more than I should, to the point that it hurts my port, seriously!! I can't fool myself anymore, and it embarrasses me when people ask why I had the surgery if it's not doing anything for me? I can't take it anymore!!! I vow that from this day forward, no more lies, no more JUNK, no more candy, no MORE MORE!!

Ok, here goes EVERYTHING...........

You can do it! Be encouraged, so everything one day at a time, actually one meal at a time. Just think, hmm yes I COULD eat that, but it's going to move me further away from goal. If I this.. it puts me closer to my goal.. Day by day, choice by choice. You WILL succeed.

Good for you Foxxy! Get back on track =)

My port kills me when I overeat too! I get so mad at myself when I do that so I know exactly what you're talking about. It's hard to break old habits sometimes though. We just have to keep working at it!

Thanks!!! I think that we too often just say "Oh well, the hell with it, Ill do it tomorrow" and then never do it. I have to take responsibility for myself and get off my (not for long) fat ass and get to work!! No one is gonna do it for me, although I wish they could, but Im just fooling myself.

I am so there with you!!! I had lost 85 pounds and have gained back just over 20 in the past 2.5 to 3 months and I hate myself for it! I miss my size 16's!!! Granted, I'm thankful to still be much smaller than I was this time last year, but when I think of where I could be it makes me sick. I went this morning for a fill and made the decision to start over. No more will I give in to this awful cycle of feeling bad about myself, eating for comfort, and then feeling even worse. I feel like I just set myself up to fail over the last few months. I actually thought more than once, well, a size 16 is about the best I can probably do so I guess this is it... at my lowest I was 204 and now that seems so far away again. No more though!!! My doctor said it well this morning as I was leaving - welcome back on the "band" wagon, lol. Good luck!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
