under you desk petal exerciser

I wondering if anyone has one of these. It goes under you desk at work. I was thinking about buying one they are cheap no more then 40 dollars. I have a desk job and i sit all day long and work on a computer. How many calories do you think you could burn with one of these.

Intriguing...not sure....definitely has to be better than sitting, burning close to no cals, right?

That does look interesting. I wonder how much it makes you move in your chair? Will people be walking by wondering why is she so squirmy does she have an itch we should be concerned about? lol.

I have one of these, and I guess I'd say it meets my expectations for the price. For me to use it comfortably, I use a low, soft living room chair and (tighten my abs and) lean back like I'm on a recumbent bike. After a while, the grippers start to rotate and it moves. I bought this because I don't yet have the range of motion for a full exercise bike, but needed to start moving my legs. I think you would have to be rather motivated to use this to get a long work-out, but it may be that I'm too short, heavy and/or out of shape.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
