I want to know what Goals everyone has. I don't mean weight goals. Like goals of getting into that pair of jeans or that mini skirt or swim suite. or possibly your CRUSH! Anything that you see yourself doing that you now want and it is so close. Like mine is to be able to use my Wii Fit and then after that telling me i am not obese :bored:

Hello Ralop and welcome to LBT!

Um, let's see... I would just love to be able to run again. I have two knee surgeries to get through and get myself to a reasonable weight that my knees can sustain the shock.

Sounds great to me!

I agree, no longer being obese is a great prize.

A lapband friend recently gave me two pairs of size 16 jeans and one is a Calvin Klein pair and I have them hanging on my bedroom door for motivation. I remember Oprah being so proud fitting into I think size 10 Calvin Kleins and I'll be just as proud to get into a 16 in jeans. I'm at the size 20-22 now and started with some of my pants in 30/32 so I can't wait!

I'm with kkoen, I want my girls to say HEY THATS MY MOM!!! the way we look reflects on them too. Middle and high school kids like to be mean and I don't want my girls to have to stand up for there mom or hate to be seen with me...

I'm getting married in 3 years (a long time, I know...). I want to be able to walk into Vera Wang and fit in any gown in the store. Also, my brother is getting married in 2 years, and I want to be just as beautiful as the other bridesmaids in the wedding (and again, fit into a really beautiful dress). Can't wait to be a normal size!!

This is a fun thread! I have a closet that is full of smaller clothes... I haven't been able to wear anything in that closet for about 10 years now... My goal is to be able to wear anything in there! I can't wait!

You go LibbyJane! I love it!

I too hate that Wii - OBESE...like I need a computer to remind me!

I have an old pair of jeans that I really want to wear.

I want to go to weddings/functions in something that doesn't resemble a tablecloth.

I want to look good in pictures.

Someday I want to have children.

Those are my goals.

I want to be able to walk down and up the same trail at the Grand Canyon that my husband and I walked down and up the summer we first met and fell in love--we're going to Celebrate our 20th anniversary by going back to the Grand Canyon next summer--I know I'll be 20 years older, but I think that 47 years old is not too old (I know people way older than 47 who run up and down Pikes Peak--mountain near where I live--elev. 14,000 ft!). Also, I want to scuba dive again.

These are really great goals. My biggest goal of all time is not to shop at Casual Male!!!!! that will make me feel really great and plus those clothes are way to expensive, like 28 dollars for a shirt.

So many...where do I start?

*I want to sit on my husband's lap...comfortably

*I want to be able to put on a bathing suit and not care who else is around.

*I want to be able to borrow clothes from people and not be embarrassed because they don't fit

All of these are attainable....just need to keep it up. I am down 50 pounds and in a size 14 now...won't be too long for some of these goals to come to fruition!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
