I have been having my 2 oz Protein shot every hr then broth, Water, tea , juice in between . busted today having sm lemon berry slush from sonic . my stomach feels fine i feel like i could eat anything but i won't. My huuby and i went to store earlier so the walking helped me but i was tired when we got back. On the good side I have lost 3 lbs so far I hope that will stay off after i switch to soft foods. i have pressure in my chest is that being full or gas I cant tell ? I do feel hungry i think . I am still taking some advil for the soreness . If i dont move its not sore. I have 2 more days before going back to work so i hope the soreness will be gone by then . I will write moew tomarrow . hope all is well with everyone else this weekend. mel :wink2:

Im five days post op now, and it was a huge turning point. I feel so much better! The moodiness has gone, my energy is up, and the only pain left is at the port site. I am on full liquids and have not been hungry in between meal times. Its amazing! However I did eat a little too much at dinner tonight. pureed some soupy scalloped potatoes and they were so good I know I ate more than my one cup limit. My tummy got full and round and that made my port incision hurt a little more. I am going to measure my food from now on while on my post op diet so I dont do that again. Things are def on the up and up though! I can sleep on either side at night or my back. No belly sleeping yet though.

Well I went back to work today. It was not too bad , I have to remember not to bump my stomach on the desk . the swelling in my stomach has gone down some but the port area is still swollen and sore . Is everyone one else having that experience? i have been a little bit hungrier today . I am using some cream Soups with Water in the blender to thin them out , I hope that still counts as a liquid . I think my doc says it has to go thru a strainer to be considered a liquid. I am counting down the next two weeks till I can have mushies . I love that the weight is coming off I just wish my stomach showed it a little more. Anyway just thought i would check in with everybody, hope all is well. mel

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
