Hello....Gotta a problem. done all the research bout the lapband, finally went to the drs, got a referral (we got tricare insurance) and made my appointment with the surg. But b4 i went they called and said i didn't quilfly. Thats my prob!! a lil fyi : I'm 32, 5'7, 200 lbs. Had a weight prob my entire life. Done it all!! Hubby just left for Iraq and I would love to surprise him with a new me. Any suggestions about what steps to take next?

Oh man Im so sorry. Ya looks like your BMI is prob only around 31 which is LOW for qualifying for this surgery. I think your only option would be paying cash and finding a doc who will do it at that low of a BMI. Doesnt seem like you're that over weight. Even a BMI of 35 requires medical issues. Usually a BMI of 40 will automatically qualify you. Good luck!
