I am having problems with me being able to read my own posts. Other people can read what I post, but I can't go back and look at my previous posts in a thread to see exactly what I wrote. Is there a setting I need to change or something?

Thanks,

Joan

Are you scrolling up in a thread to see earlier posts? What happens when you try to read a thread from the beginning--what do you see when you get to where your post should be?

I have scrolled up to see the earlier posts, and I've tried starting at the beginning of the thread and scrolling all the way through the thread. I see other peoples responses to my posts, but my original message just isn't there. It's not like there's a gap or anything like that. It's just not there.

I wonder if you somehow put yourself on ignore? I've never heard of such a thing.

Can you see your posts in this thread?

Yes, I can see my posts in this thread, and all but 2 rather long posts in the thread I was posting in. I have posted about 5 or 6 posts on that thread. I've never seen it happen before either, that's why I was thinking someone had pulled my posts. I checked my ignore list, and I don't have anyone on ignore.

Can you point me to the thread where this happened? If they were deleted by mistake I may be able to restore them or somehow figure out the answer to the mystery.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
