Is there are great supportive strapless bra?

Recommended Posts

I am getting more comfortable with my body and especially my sholders and arms. I would love to wear some cute tops with thin straps or something strapless. Can anyone help me out with this? I can't find a strapless bra that is supportive enough. I know I need PS and plan to do it in 5 years when I get my WLS paid off, in the mean time can you help me out?

Thanks I'll try. I've always been very broad across my back. All my life even if I weighed 30 lbs less than my sisters I couldn't fit into their shirts. Maybe that is why I have such a hard time. I figured I would need to wear some kind of corset for support. (Luckily to even out the playing field I never had to worry about my hips.)

I'll try this one. Anyone else had good luck?

I buy my bras at Lane Bryant still. I may not be able to for much longer though. I love their convertible bra. I have DDD's even after loosing almost 50 lbs! This bra keeps them up on my chest where they should be and I can now wear strapless and spaghetti strap clothes. Good luck finding one that works for you.

Soma Intimates, Chico's intimates store, has an amazing strapless bra called the Traveler's Amy Bra. It is very supportive and really stays in place. And this is coming from somebody with big breasts. This is the first strapless I have felt comfortable wearing.

Their bras in general are really great if you are looking for a regular bra. No, they aren't cute like Victoria's Secret. They are fairly plain, but still pretty, and very supportive and comfortable.

they,ve got some really good options at victoria;s secret . pricey but worth it. id suggest taking the time to get measured next time you go bra shopping. i've found that fit is the key for strapless bras. i know when i got measured id gone down a few inches and a cup size

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
