Women want to know: are you melting?

Recommended Posts

I am newly single and VERY self conscious about my "melting body syndrome" with skin hanging loose. How do you men deal with this in your own personal experience? I am scared to death that some man might want to see me naked, and it's not pretty. Do men feel this self conscious? My ex-husband didn't seem to mind because he saw me as it was happening, so it wasn't like he got this big shock because in clothes I looked like a 7 or 8, but naked I was a 2. Just wanting the male perspective. Thanks, guys.

First, let me offer this highly sexist remark: As a female, the difference between how you view your body and how a potential sex partner views your body is vast.

Second, I don't mean to brush aside your feelings. If you are really really self-consious, then maybe turning the lights out might help your confidence?

I have been lucky so far Im more then have way to my goal of losing 120lbs and so far the skin seems to be shrinking with the weight even to the point that the stretch marks on my belly are 90% gone, was not expecting my skin to do so well at 41yo.

My guess is I will end up with a little loose skin in the end but its ok I have always thought of myself as a Sexy Beast weather I was thin or over weight.

If I were you I would not worry about it to much, for me I find a woman gets more sexy the more I get to know her, if she has the personality type I like. Oh and if you find you cant live with it look into getting it removed.

I am self conscious, to the point, that I need surgery. My stomach looks worse than WWI trench battlefield.

When, I was 23 I had open surgery on my intestines. The way they closed me up and the subsequent weight gain over the years my stomach almost looks like a bell pepper.

I am married. My wife does not mind it that much. But when I go to the Doc's and swimming, it bothers me a bit.

I am looking forward to surgery to get rid of it. I hope next year this time to get it done.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
