Hurricane and fill!

Recommended Posts

Ok I was got a fill on monday. Today is Thursday and here i am sitting waiting for Little Miss Hurricane Tropical Storm Katrina. Am I crazy or does the hurricane make me feel more restricted? My chest is so tight and i cant get anything down without tightness. My imagination or is this a possibility?

I think the weather has alot of influence on my restriction. I can hardly eat when its hot. But once the temperature cools down, I've got little restriction. I don't know that I would have needed the unfill I got if I had stayed indoors.

Bodies do change with the weather and as bandsters, I think we are more aware of those changes. Hang in there. The hurricane will pass.

Could be the fill from monday 'kicking in', or it could be the weather, or it could just be the STRESS from the impending hurricane. Stress really does it for me.

Is this why my band is going crazy?? I haven't had good restriction for about 1 1/2 months, and yesterday all of a sudden, I can hardly eat. My band is so tight, I can't stand it, I had gotten used to eating a tad more, actually a whole lot more. I have to go get some supplies this afternoon, I haven't been grocery shopping all week, and the refrigerator is bare, gotta go get the tuna and the Water, just in case. You know what's bad, our generator got stolen out of the back of my step-dad's truck last Sat (he borrowed it) and my husband has been so upset all week, it was brand new, worth about $4000. It is so heavy, who ever took it had plenty of help, cause two people suer can't lift it alone. Hopefully we can stay safe and not need it. Well good luck to us all. Stay in touch.

I don't know anything about hurricanes but I traveled to a really high altitude last weekend and I am alot tighter. I was thinking I may need to go in for another fill last week. But I have lost one pound in the last 3 days. That is a big thing for me because I haven't had a loss in 8 weeks.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
