Calorie counter for blackberry?

Recommended Posts

I am ten days post op and am on my first days of mushies. I am completely petrified of screwing this up and not losing weight with my band so would like to diligently track my calorie intake. Does anyone know of a program that could work on my blackberry so I can track everything in real time? Any advice is much appreciated!

Congrats on your banding! I use an iPhone and use the app "Lose It", not sure if Blackberry has something like that or not. I thought I would mention it, just in case. Also before I started using Lose It, I used Fit Day. That is a free online service, I am sure that you could go online on your Blackberry and use that one.

Good luck!

I have an iphone too and use an app called the daily plate. They have the app for blackberries and the iphone. I love it and use it daily. Try it out =)

I have a blackberry and I use Livestrong's Daily Plate. I think I paid $2.99 for it, but it's a one time fee and that's all you pay ever. You can add your info online or on your phone and they will update each other.

It's a great tool! I cant imagine not using it. I track not only what I eat but my exercise too and weight loss. Truly a great app.

That sounds perfect, thanks everyone. I've been trying to use MSN's site but it's not really usable from my blackberry and I'm not in front of my computer all the time so it hasn't been that successful. I'm going to try the daily plate now. Thanks!

Sorry I'm a bit behind here, but, try Sparkpeople for mobile. You log in online and then you can log in to their mobile site from your phone. You can track calories, fat, Protein, carbs and it has menus and food search and you can create lists of favorites too. I've been on it for over a year. Great tool!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
