Is there a new "Give Feedback" pop-up/corner on this site, or do I have a virus?

Recommended Posts

Logged in this morning and there's a new "Give Feedback" overlay in the bottom right of my screen. After a short time I got a full screen pop-up asking if I wanted to give feedback. I clicked yes, but then canceled...nothing says Lap Band Talk on it. I've looked all over this site and can't find an announcement about this, and I'm guessing there would have been.

We recently got a virus just by clicking OUT of a pop-up (not from this site) that took us a long time and $$$ to fix two computers. Can you tell me if this is from LBT or not? I don't mind giving feedback, but I want to know from the administrators that it won't hurt my computer first. Thanks!

I don't have specifics, but don't worry it is NOT a virus-- it is part of the site added recently (although I'm hoping temporarily).

So Jack, it's not on your screen (thanks for bumping...let me know)?

FairyFacade- I'm assuming you see the same thing I have...and your sure it's safe to complete?

Yes, Kampyle is a software for websites to offer feedback forms..

It's safe )

I personally don't put my e-mail in blanks like that (but it says that is optional) just in case they sign you up for junk mail.

It is on my screen too. I have already given feedback but it still won't go away. It is a little annoying.

I sure hope it goes away soon, too. It doesn't actually let me give feedback - it just hangs out in the corner of the page. If I click on it, it takes me to www.kampyle.com, but not an actual feedback form.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
