A little confused, need some advice

I had my 3rd fill in August and it was perfect, in fact, I really thought I was at my "sweet spot". In November I could no longer fill restriction so I went to doctor who gave me a fill. Still felt no restriction so he send me to hospital to get a fill done by x-ray and they told me that I might be too tight, to let them know. Well, I still could fill NO restriction. Went back to my doctor in January and he told me that I am so close to my goal weight (need to lose 15 more pounds) that it is hard to fill me at the right spot. He filled me again and while there are times I can feel the restriction about 80% of the time I can't. I am so frustrated. The doctor told me not to come back for 10 weeks. I know that I am not at my sweet spot, and being a fast eater for 50+ years I need that reminder to s-l-o-w down when I eat. What do you think??

I haven't even been banded yet, so my input really isn't worth much.... But I think that you should go ahead and wait the 10 weeks and go back to see your dr. If at that time you haven't had a loss, maybe he will be willing to give you another fill.

Or try calling him back after 4 to 6 weeks and see if he will change his mind.

Again - I really don't know what I'm talking about here but at least wanted you to know that I'm wishing you the best and CONGRATULATIONS on your loss this far! Your doing great!

CALL your doc. If you're not having restriction then call him so he can see you sooner...but are you not having restriction because you're eating too fast? You've had your band about the same amount of time that I have so I know its EASY to FORGET to eat right and chew and eat slow..crap I just forgot about an hour ago when I CHUGGED down some water...yeah didnt feel good. but anyhow. You know you and your band by now so if youre not restricted call your doc!!
