Ladies, get on the Wii Fit!

Recommended Posts

Okay, gals... I have one thing to tell you: that Wii Fit i AMAZING! I "go to the gym" every day now!!! It's like having a trainer, gym, yoga instructor and motivator all in one (at at home!). It's amazing and I've lost 5 pounds already from it. I love my Wii fit!

Plus, it helps with the Constipation, for ome strange reason.

Anyway, another plus is that when I get food stuck, I do Yoga (the downward facing dog position) and it goes away instantly!!! (up or down lol). It's the best!!!

I LOVE my Wii Fit! Unlocked the boxing and advanced boxing yesterday. I try to do at least 30 min a day - mainly hula hoop, step and now boxing!! LOVE it!

I just bought the Wii Fit today. I have not been able to find the Wii yet. One piece at a time. What do you recommend as far as a package deal? I am new at this stuff so I am not sure what to buy. If you buy the console what comes with it.

Once a month we have a ladies night out. We went to one of the ladies house and she had a Wii. I never played the system before, but once I left her house I became a Wii addict.

Yes, it is true, I was bowling and boxing. I never laughed so hard or worked up a sweat from the boxing game. Lots and lots of fun! I am now saving up for a Wii system.

I bought the wii fit for myself for my b-day a few weeks ago. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! i get my kids up at 5 am and we do it together. It is soooo much fun and they beg me every night to wake them up in the am to “play” on the wii. I also invested in the fitness couch “game” for the wii and that is one tuff trainer. You don’t have to have the wii fit to do it but it is like having a personal trainer.

Best part about it is comfort of your own home and it reminded my kids and husband about my b-day and kept asking them if they had gotten me anything for me (BONUS!)

I was looking for more games on the Wii that would be as good as the Wii Fit - I'll have to try the fitness couch game! Im doing the boxing, running, hula hoop and step every night..trying to work in some of the yoga poses, but I have NO balance. LOL. Any other ideas for other physical games would be GREATLY appreciated! :rose: Thanks!

Is it women only then?

Is what women only? The Wii game? Nope, because I was whipping the heck out of the boxer on the Wii game. Talk about taking out your aggression. :rose:

Wow!

I just got my Wii delivered today. I bought it on Amazon as a Wii fit bundle that included the console. It was a lot of fun and I had a great workout, but I can't figure out the ski jump, keep tumbling down the hill.:rose:

For other Wii suggestions:

There was another program called "Fitness Trainer" (I think), that had really high ratings, and I have also had a tough workout on "Dance, Dance Revolution", but it was really engaging.

Perfect gift for myself because I have been having trouble getting enough physical activity.:tongue2:

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
