Vines, This is SO neat! Great idea!

I collect catholic religious articles, angels and lots of dust :). If you ever visited my house, you would think that I collected toys! LOL (my kids have many toys)

cook books - what a GREAT collection idea!

and at Christmas time, the older cousins exchange ornaments, so I have a collection of that as well. Mousecrazy - this is truly one of my favorite things to do. I have boo-koo's of christmas ornaments and each one has a story!

I collect pens. Writing pens the crazier looking the better. I love anything purple so all of my friends if they see a purple fuzzy pen or some neat pen that maybe lights up or sing a song they get it for me! LOL I had a pen once that had a radio in it, unfortunately it "walked" away from me LOL. So if any of you have interested pens that you stumble upon PM me. Oh yeah and somehow I have this huge collection of PowerPuff Girl stuff. I love them!!!(at 36 who would have thunk it)

dust... it's all over the place, everytime I gather it together to store in my hefty waterproof protective sleeves... I find more! I think my house is a dust magnet!! I've started lots of collections for my kids... state quarters, pez, tiny jewelry boxes, and flattened pennies from those presses that leave a design in them... my boy started that one.

Hey Pam - we also collect those flattened pennies from whereever we go on vacation. That and we try to find a Christmas ornament.

Other than that, neither of us are collectors -- I grew up with a mom who refused to collect anything -- if it's not useful, there's no reason to have it! lol, no wonder her house looks so tidy and clean.

Howling coyote's and Elmer & Ellie horses. Oh and Old cowboy hats. They hang on one wall in my living room. I have about 100 coyote's and 25 hats. Just started the horse collection.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
