Hi: Sorry to hear you are having problems with your first fill.

I have not had a fill yet and I know every doctor gives different instructions, but shouldn't you have been on liquids after the first fill. At least liquids for a couple of days until your stomach has time to adjust to the fill?

My doctor instructs us to go on liquids after a fill for at least 2-days. If we are still having issues after a couple of days on liquids after the fill, then the doctor will take some of the fill out.

Can you keep liquids down? If not you should call your doctor to get a slight unfill.

I would call the doctor and schedule a slight unfill. Thank goodness you can keep fluids down, but by this time you should be keeping soft foods down. You don't want to throw up with the band, because of possible slippage.

Good luck!

well, with a weight loss of 26 lbs sounds like you didnt need a fill. i had my surgery on oct 1st and i went a month or so later and had lost 7 lbs and my dr wouldnt fill me cause he said that i didnt need filling, that i was losing just fine. he only fill if you lose less than 5 lbs in a month or gained. It also sound like you are too tight and you certainly dont want to be throwing up with the band due to slippage and other issues.

thank´s, yes i think I was loosing a lot of weight with no fill and I was felling great, now I don´t feel so great so I will be going back to the doctor to get unfilled if I keep getting stuck.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
