I know exactly why..... ill be honest i drink when i eat i didnt in the start but now i do it all the time, the pain is bad but it seems to be worth whatever im eating. i need some serious help ...people are commenting why i havnt lost more weight and it really gets me down.

I haven't been through that but I can only suggest, since you know what's causing your lack of weight loss....to STOP drinking when you eat. PERIOD. do it for 1 week and see how you feel. Also maybe a little behavioral therapy would help you. You're the only one who can work your band, you know. 30 kg isn't a bad loss. I personally would tell you quit comparing yourself to others, quit drinking with your meals, and get on with it! LOL You know what and how .... only you, I'd think, can answer why not. good luck! Whatever happens, 30 kgs is a good loss.

Get back to the basics, follow the rules.

Don't get discourage if you are a slow loser. I was a very fast loser the first 6 months, but the past year, it takes everything I have in me to lose 1 lbs.

Stay on top of your fills. Make sure you are at your sweet spot, stick to lean Proteins, eat them first. and DON'T DRINK AND EAT. Drink Water right up until time to eat, then stop.

I know its easier said than done, but you can do it. The thing about the band is it is very forgiving, it is still with you,now you just have to start using it as a tool and it will help you.

Best wishes. PS - Your not a failure, you haven't quit, so chin up and get back to the basics.

Been banded about year had very good success until now I stopped going to the gym and I have been eating candy! Just been adjust tightly but, I know how to eat around my band. A lot going on in my life recently divorce so I have that to deal with and this loneliness too. Please if any one has any suggestions I am open to them. Thanks in advance.........

I have a suggestion. If you broke your leg, you wouldn't expect candy to heal it, would you? Well...you have emotional issues in your life that you are "treating" with candy and food. It isn't going to help those, either. I suggest finding a good therapist you trust and "click" with and treating the problem with something that will help you through. Overeating and not exercising are not ever going to do one good thing for you.

My weight was just falling off in the beginning and now I am lucky when I lose a pound. It's my own fault too cause I don't exercise alot...

That's ok though. Don't beat yourself up :) Just try to follow bandsters rules. If it's too much all at once add them back into your routine slowly. Most of all get moving! Just start with a walk at night or something small.

You'll be fine. You have done well and congrats on your loss.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
