DO you still use Protein Supplements in the long run?

Any of you long-time bandsters still drink Protein drinks or mix in protein to milk or juice? Could you tell me what you do and why?

I heard it's not necessary, but it probably helps, right?

I have a Protein Drink every day for Breakfast, because my band is much tighter in the mornings and a Protein drink goes down a lot easier than solid food . I have Premeir Protein ready to drink, 30g protein. from costco

My surgons nutritionist insisted that we need protien shakes and would for a while....well I was starving when she said this and did not have the mental abililty to question it. As I started drinking my protien and feeling human again I realized that if I eat three meals a day, even mushies and add a class of milk I get all of my 70gms of protien I need. If at the end of the day I have not had enough protien I can add a shake. This is a great topic.......
