Name your Band!

Recommended Posts

Ok I've got 2 names that I've come up with in the past couple of years that I am saving for a novel I intend to write - but I've also thought they would both make great band names too.

#1 - Spaghetti at Midnight - my life has always been crazy hours working night shifts so you never know when I'm up or down - I often find my boyfriend and I chowing down on a full plate of hot spaghetti and garlic toast at midnight - it just always seemed very fitting to me.

#2 Mascara Tears - there's just something about seeing a mascara tear streaked face that causes stirs so many different feelings of emotions in me whether it be myself or in a movie.

If i were to name a novel I like "Cigarette Burns and Mascara Tears" - very fitting for a book about my life.

Ugh candy Smooch~Your ticker is killin me...I love punkin pie!!!

I dont have an official name for my band yet...maybe something along the lines of Samofabitch......cause when I get stuck I say Son of a Bitch cause it hurts.....Or Tildakillma.....(Tried To Kill Me - when I had that slurpie a few months back!) I sorta lean towards Tildakillma more so...... ehehehehehe SICK I TELL YA SICK I AM! eheheheh If I had a musical band it would be ummm Creep and the Crawlers.

Another one who thought u meant the silicone-rubberband-that-makes-me-love-life-more-every-day. So who knows what I would name a music band. I cant sing or dance, or play any instruments, so maybe I would name it The UnTalented Escapades.....Hmmmmm........Something to think about....8)

I have a different thread going titled the same thing Name Your Band - but its for naming your band inside your tummy. Go over there to post your name for your silicone band. there's lots of good names w/ stories too over there.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
