This is me in a Gold Mine, out in Cripple Creek... I found no gold, even though they said that 80% of the Gold is still in those mines.

Me, enjoying the beaches of Destin, Fl in June 2005

Hubby, who also has lapband but, he doesn't participate on the board. He likes to keep his band a secret.

Thanks Paula, My hubbie Chris started I think 259? now he is down to 193. He wears a size med and about a 34 in Jeans. He says he is about 10 pounds from his goal. One thing he hates he has alot of extra skin in his belly area. I think he looks great myself

Picture of me was in June and I was about 233, now I am 224. It's hard to find pictures of me, because I am the picture taker.

No sharks, but, I did see dolphins.

Here are the photos of me and the birthday girl in our fairy costumes from the party!

the pinata bash- or how to beat your brother with a stick and not get in trouble

adrian2ndbirthday36.jpg

drum roll please- me_ please note I made the outfit to wear without the tutu- but I freaked and had to put it on I was afraid of my butt!

adrian2ndbirthday50.jpg

(It is all there except the silver corset (eric said no at the kids party- his party later ok- but kids no))

this is from last year's 1st birthday (it was 2 weeks after my surgery - and I was so excited about the pants and my 20 lb loos then- who would have ever guessed I would have been in a tutu for her second birthday!

ADRIAN_1ST_BIRTHDAY_8.jpg

I just really have to get over food though- we had a fairy tea party and I made individual cheese cakes (choclate & regular) cherry and rasberry codials, veggie plate, fruit salad, "bug" AND "flower" finger sandwiches, cake, custard cups, merague mushrooms with rasberry filling, cheese ball, spinach dip and deviled eggs, chicken tenders and popcorn chicken and meat cubes, chips, and etc snacks.....

Had to share a couple of pics of my own! The first is my older son on graduation from college with a BA in only 3 years (yeah...I'm not proud!)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
