Emails No Longer Contain Data ?!??

Recommended Posts

I noticed today that my emails no longer contain the data posted by the responder. I liked this feature because I don't want to necessarily look at every post, I read them in the email and decide when to respond.

Example, I now get this:

Dear HeatherO,

tapshoes has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Ouchhh . . . My butt hurts . . . Is it the band? - in the General Lap-Band Surgery Discussion forum of Lap Band Surgery and Lap Band Discussion Forum.

This thread is located at:

http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f17/ouchhh-my-butt-hurts-band-74898-new/

You will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.

All the best,

Lap Band Surgery and Lap Band Discussion Forum

Unsubscription information::biggrin:

Is this affecting everyone, or is it just a personal issue? Perhaps I clicked on something and didn't realize I changed my settings somehow.

Nope you are not the only one. it started today. Yesterday I had no issue. I agree with you I like being able to read the email and not have to go to the board all the time

Same here...thought it was a glitch, but it kept up. I don't think I like that feature, if it's permanent.

We needed to disable that feature for the time being. We hope to have it back in place soon.

Awesome! Thank you!

I wasn't going to click on the link to view the next entry, until I saw it was from Alex. I figured it would be insightful.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
