nauseous with water?

Recommended Posts

So this is weird...everytime I take a sip of my Water today, I get a really nauseous feeling. I'm 6 days post-op, so I'm taking small sips but even the smallest sip feels like its going to come back up. I can feel it going down and once it gets towards the bottom, there is some pain, I'm guessing right where the pouch is? Any ideas on what is going on?

At this rate, I'll never get all my water for the day in!

I had the same problem but it only happened after week 1 until the end of week 2. I found a medicine called Nauzene chewables at Walmart that really helped with this. I also have seen them at my grocery store as well.

This stage only lasted about a week for me . . . and it was definitely the Water making me nauseous.

Tea and coffee did not make me feel this way. To limit caffeine, I would drink chamomile tea, mint teas or other herbal teas and keep coffee at no more than 1 cup daily. They helped. I would drink them with splenda or without depending on how I felt.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
