Has anyone tried it? Do you recommend it? How did you use it? It says on the website not recommended to mix in drinking Water but how does it do in drinks like iced tea?

i used it in lemonade and it was fine usually you would put the unflavored in a thick mixture like smoothies or yogurt, Soups

gives things a different texture but its the best Protein out there and mine going to use it the rest of my life

Hi Jodi. I don't do Protein Drinks for the most part... they smell horrible. But! I do use the Unjury Protein in things like sugar free pudding. I've used everything except their chicken Soup flavor. It's best in thick things like pudding.< /p>

Frankly, I dont' believe there IS a Protein powder (or liquid) that isn't horrible. I'm very sensitive to smells and taste and most make me gag. The one thing about Unjury, they are pure and medical grade. They are whey isolate - the best kind of protein.

Best!

Barbara

I have tried unflavored Unjury, and I put it into sugar/fat free Jello pudding to bump up the Protein content. I would suggest pudding into food dishes rather than drinks.< /p>

Thanks everyone for your responses. I do have one shake a day (12G protein). Three meals and a shake are about all I can handle right now and I am not supposed to replace a meal with a Protein supplement. I have been using the Protein Shots, which when I can get them at Walmart are $1.97 each but I buy them out and then it takes a long time before they restock. Online they are about $38 ($3.16 each) that is like $95.00 per month. So I was wondering if at $1.06 a serving Unjuryunflavored mixed with my food or drink might be a good econimical option. Like I said I can only choke down one shake a day and I am shedding a lot of hair so I want to try and get my protein intake up. I am also taking "Hair Skin and Nail" supplements with 3000mcg of Biotin hoping that this and the increased protein will stop the loss. I have baby fine hair and have had bouts of thyroid imbalances in the past that have left my hair just a little thin so I can't afford to lose any more!

Try Worldwide Protein shakes (available at Trader Joe, Vitamin Shoppe, and GNC--Trader Joe cheapest, VS next cheapest and they carry all the flavors). It comes in 21g protein (only Trader Joe carries them in Van and Choc) and 35g protein (TJ carries Van and Choc, GNC also; Vitamin Shoppe carries Vanilla, chocolate, Cookies n' Cream-tastes like liquid Oreos, strawberry, and banana Cream). At Trader Joe the 35s are $2.29 each, 21s $1.69. At Vitamin Shoppe they are $2.79 but I bought a 12 pack for $27.99 which is about $2.33 each. GNC charges $2.99 so that is the last place I would buy it. I think the taste is better than many of the other drinks. The powders benefit from a packet of Splenda.

See my post above about Worldwide Protein drinks. They are ready to drink and come in 21 and 35g protein. I drink one every day.

I put a scoop of the unflavored Unjury into sugar free carnation instant Breakfast. 12 oz of 1% milk (16 grams protein), 1 scoop Unjury (21 grams protein) and 1 package instant breakfast (5 grams protein). 42 grams Protein total and it tastes great.

I also put it into pudding and smoothies. I don't even notice it, but it really bumps up the protein count.

Thanks again Patchelton!

I stopped by the Vitamin Shoppe last night and bought the single cans of Worldwide Protein shakes, one of each flavor to see which one I like best before buying a whole 12PK. They had each flavor except Cookies & cream in cold single cans. I tried the vanilla this morning and it wasn't bad at all. I like that it isn't thick; goes down easy and with 35g of Protein it's fantastic!

I also saw the Protein Shots there, I just like these alot because I can get them down easily in two or three gulps. I got a case of 12 shots 25G of protein for $32.99, I just hate to go without these...

So with the 35G in the shakes and the 25G in the shots plus my three meals I am getting a ton of protein (over 100G per day). That combined with my hair, Skin & Nails Vitamins will hopefully help stop this hair loss!

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I had about 6 months between deciding to do surgery and getting scheduled. I came across the book The Pound of Cure by Dr. Matthew Weiner, a bariatric surgeon in Arizona, and started to implement some of the changes he recommended (and lost 13 lbs in the process without ever feeling deprived). The book is very simple, and the focus is on whole, plant based foods, but within reason. It's not an all or nothing approach, or going vegan or something, but focuses on improvement and aiming for getting it right 80-90% of the time. His suggestions are divided into 12 sections that you can tackle over time, perhaps one per month for a year if a person is just trying to improve nutrition and build good habits. They range from things like cutting out artificial sweetener or eating more beans to eating a pound of vegetables per day. I found it really effective pre-surgery and it's an eating style I will be working to get back to as I am further out from surgery and have more capacity. Small changes you can sustain will do the most for building good habits for life.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
