So who all has quit smoking to go with their band, and how has it been?

I quit smoking two months before getting banded, so far its been easy.

I had felt a lot of guilt from smoking for the last few years, knowing how bad it was for me.

Last thing I wanted was to get banded and still be smoking.

I quit in may this year when i got real serious about getting banded...

i don't miss it too much, except when i get stressed out...like right before i got approved i wanted to smoke...but didn't...

I quit smoking 4 weeks ago I not only need to quit for at least 3 months before getting the band ,but whats the point in having a surgery that can kill you to get healthy and then smoke?I applaud those others out there that have quit.:thumbup: NOT BANDED YET
