My post op diet, is it enough?

The paperwork from my doctor says that my post op diet will be clear liquids for a week, full liquids for a week, soft foods for a week, then adding regular foods as I tolerate them. I see others reporting that they have to do liquids for much longer and I'm wondering if my post op diet is progressing too fast. Any input from others who had a similar diet?

That was my diet and I had no problems. Some people have much less than that and are on regular food sooner. It all seems to work - do what your doctor advises and you will be fine.

I'm 13 days post op and just started soft foods today. My doctor had me on clear liquids for 2 days, then two weeks on liquids. Yours sounds fairly normal to me.
