I am in the same boat. I was banded on 03/05/2008. I have not lost a single pound in over 2 months. It is driving me crazy. I know I have lost some inches, but I am ready to have to buy clothes again. I hate going to the doc for my fills b/c It looks like I am not trying. I have a realize band with 5cc in it and I can barely tell there is any restriction.

It is truly fustrating, I thought i would at least lose 8-10 pounds a month, now I'd be happy with 1! nothing just fricking stinks, I had such high hopes when I had this done, now its come crashing down:thumbs_down: its just not right, I am afraid to go for a fill, I am afraid what my doctor will say, I am sure he will say its my fault, he is very hard to talk too, all he keeps saying is 1/2 teacup 3 times a day! Ya well its not working 1/2 teacup or not!!!

I plateaued for 7 months. I joined Weight Watchers 1 week ago and lost 5 lbs my first week. I follow the core program which is high Protein, fruit and vegies. I get approximately 3k calories a week extra for alcohol or whatever. I really like the program and it works. You should give it a try if you are plateaued. How many calories a day do you eat?

i am so sorry, lulubrat, and i feel for you. have you ever had your thyroid checked? i am not losing and it may be due to my thyroid -- they put me on meds recently but it has been hard to regulate and is still slow. i hope you find a solution because i know how very frustrating and demotivating this can be. keep us posted!

Well since I have no weight loss for 3 months, I am going to change things up, yet again, I am going to try liquids with only one meal a day, what does everyone think, or has anyone tried that? my liquid will be a Atkins protien drink, and my meal will be protien and veggies.

I usually have a bolied egg in the morning, mid morning snack is lean sliced ham with light laughing cow cheese or turkey chicken pepperoni

luch usualy is a shrimp salad, and dinner is a protien, salad and veggies, and i always eat my protien first.

Certainly sounds like you should be losing. Could you be holding Water? Everything you are eating except the egg is high in salt. Good luck hope it changes soon.

Wow i wish my eating was this good..... uhh i would try adding about 200-more calories for about 3 to 4 days then take it back down for 3 to 4 and repeat... it sounds like your body is use to getting the same thing and u are in a platu.... like for example eate some nuts... cashews or roasted peanuts or something, something that will give u the good fats and see what happends from there and let me know if this works....

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
