who uses the dailyplate??

Recommended Posts

I am trying to use the daily plate, i really like it. But all of sudden it keeps blanking on my food i try to put in. like i put in Tomato Soup and it wouldn't put it on my food list for today, its driving me nuts. its done this to me a few times. also i created menu and when i click on the food in the menu and try to add it to the day again it doesn't do it. im so frustrated. i need a good calorie counter, and i don't like caloriecount.com. I really like the idea of the daily plate just hate the glitches. sooooooo anyone else have this problem with daily plate or suggestions for a different counter? Thanks i appreciate it.

I use it too and love it.

Including today, the last few days I've been having a few problems with it. I close my browser and start over. It's getting irritating. What browser are you using? I'm using Firefox. Don't know if that has anything to do with it b/c I wasn't having problems before the last couple of days.

I've only been using it for a week and half though. I also have the free membership. I can't imagine upgrading since all I'm using it for is the basic stuff anyway.

I tried to log on a few hours ago and it was down for some kind of maintenance/repair. Maybe that's the problem you are having. I went on again a few minutes ago to update my info and everything seemed to be working great. Maybe it was having issues earlier...

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
