...or has my scale totally gone on the fritz!? Begining of pre-op diet I was 212, morning of surgery 208 (altho the scale at the surgery center said 207)....Friday 204...yesterday 200.........and today 198!!

Do you normally lose THAT fast? I guess I could considering I've had nothing but Soup, applesauce, pudding and yogart for the past 9 days LOL. If it is true wooohoooo I broke 200!!!

wow! good job! I can't wait to break 200. I'm stuck at 208. Maybe I should put myself back on the liquid phase! (hmmmm, thinking about this...lol!)

congrats!

Not to rain on your parade, but you may be losing a lot of Water weight. Still, a pound is a pound, right? Congratulations!

I wish I could be losing that fast, I haven't lost a pound in forever, but then again, I'm not drinking my Water and I'm not excersising. Now I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Could be?? Why oh why can't I get motivated to excercise, I used to be so good at it. Any ideas to get me motivated??? I am planning to go on vacation next month, it would be nice if I could drop another 10-15 by the end of June, oh it would be nice...

Congratulations on your weight loss. I lost 23 lbs the first month in a half and was so happy, thought it would all come off that easy, but it hasn't, keep up the good work.

Could be but I'll take it, I just wonder if it's my scale cause Sunday I was 200, then Monday I was 203, yesterday I was 200 again and then this morning 198. I always weigh myself in the mornings and at night just to see if there's a difference. I'm eager for my post-op next tuesday to see what the Dr.'s scale says.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
